I have been watching and playing around with http://www.hfhclan.com/WoW/WarriorDPS.xls with different DW combo's.

Reading the topics about glancing hits and so on i tested out different weapons with 311 skill (Maladath +4/Edgemaster's Handguards +7) on swords and compared to other weapons..

Anyway, there is none or atleast i can't find any, topics/discussions about dw-fury warriors and weapon choices and I was hoping for some links or more discussion about it here :D

This is what i came up with, 1k AP, 25% Crit, 10% hit as base values and then I counted in the bonuses from weapons.

Do you think this is accurate? Do you have other weapon combos to suggest?

CTS/Maladath came up as a rather deadly combo for being weapons from BWL, even ripper didn't seem to be a big upgrade from CTS which suprised me and im wondering if this really is as accurate as I wish it to be.

I find it almost sad that with all the badassery of offhands from Naxx and AQ, the ultimate OH is the sword from Broodlord, 2 full instances ago :(.

Same deal with Rogues, and ACLG's/Mugger's Belt I guess :/ seems retarded to me.

That is on fights we're you get glancing blows ofc, don't forget that you fight alot towards non 61+ mobs aswell :)

How about being orc or human with +5 axe/sword/mace skill ? and using edgemasters on that
like Crul'Shorukh/Pugio with 312MH weaponskill and 307 OH weaponskill?

Unless I read it wrong, that spreadsheet doesn't take into account other gear nor flurry chance from instants. And that's the first mistakes I could find i the first minute of glancing over it. Who did this spreadsheet?

On the thread topic, yes, I find it depressing that glancing blows puts such a stranglehold on a few slots, not allowing you to upgrade them at all.

That's a spreadsheet I put together. I'm not saying it's correct, but I think it does a better job than the one you linked because it incorporates more of the picture. In my spreadsheet, if the warrior is wielding Death's Sting/Pugio and Edgemaster's Gauntlets, and replaces the gloves with Gauntlets of Annihilation, he only loses 3 dps on level 63, while gaining ~150 hp.

I want this to be accurate, so definitely go over it and look for mistakes and let me know.

Looking at it differently, if you already have +weapon skill items, then you don't need to worry about upgrading, so that could be seen as a positive situation.

I guess...but getting new gear is half the point to raiding.

Looking at some of numbers. If warrior is DWing a AQR/Maladath with Edgemaster's, and goes to AQR/EOC and gauntlets of annihilation, he only looses 11 dps. The difference is even smaller on level 62 mobs. In that case, I think it's well worth the 280HP.

I'd rather use Qiraji Execution Bracers than either of those.
