For a lot of other guilds, mana tide is a pretty important tool. Specifically on Nef (got him down again this week, after a few weeks of floundering because of defections) we usually have 5 shams, 3-4 of which have tide. One on the MT, one on the OT, one on the rogues, two in the healer batteries. When the battery shams have burnt their tides and trinkets, one of the others is rotated in.
It's reaching and in a perfect world we wouldn't have to do it, but hey, the scaly beast is dead, and with our gear/over all raid skill level, there isn't another way at the moment.
Point being, this sort of rotation leaves very little room for totems on hunters at all, and certainly not consistant manatide. No disrespect Praet, but I think a lot more guilds are in the "reaching straining hungry for healer mana" zone then the "killed it all farmed it all I never run out of mana zone".
