We killed Instructor Razuvious and got the Descecrated Sandals (Priest/Mage/Warlock). I was under the assumption that all the information coming on was correct and that he drops the shoulders?!? (from site: http://wowwalkthroughs.free.fr/ ) We also got a druid idol from him, and the Misplaced Servo Arm on third trash pull.
Anyone have an updated drop location guide for the set items, as clearly the one we all have been using is flawed. If he drops the boots can we assume that Patchwerk drops shoulders?

They might have finalized the drop locations now. Shoulders from the first boss sounded a bit weird to me since they're usually one of the defining pieces of a set (both appearance- and statswise).

Yeah, that definitaly makes sense. Can anyone confirm/deny the drop locations of some of the others pieces? My guild hasn't killed Anub'Rekhan, Noth, or Patchwerk yet.

Both of our Noth kills (one before the instance reset and one after) yielded a belt while Anub'rhekan dropped bracers. All three mobs had splinters.

So it seems to me that people are killing the bosses shortly after entering the instance, do you have previous experiences from the test server or do you just have the information provided around on the forums?
It seems to me that people are progressing awfully fast already :)

We got the druid idol, splinter, and desecrated sabatons from Instructor.
We also found that paladin belt and ghoul skin tunic on the trash mobs in deathknight wing.

Worry if Maexxna/Loatheb/Four Horsemen or Abom wing bosses start falling over left and right. People put a lot of effort into Anub/Rasuvious/Noth on the test server, so it's fair that they're good at the fights.

When aq40 was first introduced, many guilds cleared all the way to Huhuran on the first night. I specifically remember looking at LR's channel, where they got serverfirst kills in a row (think they lost sartura/fankriss to Bad Company) and then got Huhuran first. All on first or second night, but definately during the first week.

Er, well ... that's AQ40 and not Naxxramas the big bad instance that starts at Twin Emperor difficulty :)
Btw, I hope we get non-crappy test servers next patch over here in the EU >.<

I think people here on the forums are aware of our flawed PTR by now, it's getting a bit repeatative and annoying to read about it all the time.
What bosses were ever killed legit on the ptr? Yes I mean before the revamps.
Anub'rekhan
Instructor Razuvious
Gothik
Patchwerk(?)
Grobbulus(since Gluth was killed, or maybe he was death touched?)
Gluth(?)
Noth
Heigan
Is this correct?

No. Lowest percent on PTR was 68% (We got him to 71%) and then a GM would DT him.
Also, We have found there have been some "intersting" changes to Patchwerk.

o rly
(Edit; But yeah, he definitely was not killed on the PTR, though he was taken lower than 2/3 health.)
Edit #2: Were the Grobbulus and Heigan kills in their end-of-PTR forms, or are you including the early glitchy kill where Heigan was pulled to the entrance, etc.?

o rly? I heard 68 was the lowest, but I could be wrong since I dont moniter everyones progression in the PTR (but I do watch a good amount, and the exploit hunter 14k life one I dont count ;p)
No, But Immo got a middle-tuned(no idea how to phrase it, but after the fix of pulling things out of the room, but before the complete revamp) kill on both. Although they claimed Grobbulus was a push over and Heigan was really buggy. (no real statement how, but thats understandable) Or well, thats what I heard.

Some people don't feel a need to brag about video game "accomplishments", however, so what you hear isn't always the truth of matters. :)

So how hard is the first boss exactly? For some reasons my guild can't even be bothered to kill the earlier boss in AQ40 since "everything in AQ suck ass" but the "loot aura" from Naxx is good so people want to go there.
So any range of diff?

Hey, I'm the one who brought it up. We've done better than 68 -- 50ish -- and I'm sure others have too. Was just correcting the initial statement of fact. People insisting that Patchwerk is broken or that there's a gimmick to kill him make me chuckle. He's definitely killable. If anyone kills him this week, however, I'll be really damn impressed (assuming he hasn't changed since his last PTR iteration). It's a gear thing, I think.
