Question for the EJ related to this, was the new hardware you got moved onto a significant decrease in your lag and/or latency?

I ask because our guild is highly highly likely to get off the lagged to Helen Back piece o' crap it currently is, and moving to a lag free world would be like, really nice.

[edit] In case it's not clear, we're not considering a move to Mal'Ganis, more a med pop server that's on new hardware.

We don't recruit. The only two recent additions to EJ are one player's wife, and another guy who was the roommate of two of our players.

The odds of getting into EJ, especially after moving, is so insanely low. We kinda like the community we have built up.

I wasnt talking about getting in, just people asking every day and ignoring EJ's position of telling inquiring individuals to fuck off. It doesnt matter how explicit you are people will still try.

Fun fact: I made the "Recruitment Policy" sticky above a day after Blizzard first announced, long ago, that they were looking into making paid transfers available.

If you're an established Horde player, Mal'Ganis is the last place in the world you'd ever want to transfer.

On an unrelated note, does anyone out there in alliance land have a suggestion as to where I should transfer my paladin? Dark Iron is a piece of shit.

The Penny Arcade guilds not doing it for you?

Azgalor Horde isn't bad for raiding or pvp as far as numbers go, but we're in perpetual lag hell. I believe the same can be said about Azgalor Alliance, but they do outnumber us 1.6:1 according to WarcraftRealms.

A few of the Icecrown Alliance Raiding guilds are looking for Paladins.

i assure you, icecrown does not need more alliance. :-P my alt horde druid is on there, and the alliance/horde ratio is horribly skewed.

It's horrible, I never realized that people actually announced their level ups (followed by 20 people saying grats) or linked every damn purple they could imagine in guild chat constantly.

We're a Horde guild (Blackrock), and Mal'Ganis was never an option given that you guys almost have as long a wait times as us to get into BG's despite our server being Alliance skewed. 2 hour BG queues for Horde while Alliance have instant...

Thanks for the replies, we'll try and look for a server that's on the new gear. It's bad enough for most of cour guild being basd in NZ with latency let alone with the server lag Blackrock has.
