What spec / gear do you use to put out the most dps for Princess Huhu as a rogue. Here's a link to the gear I have, my gear is in my bags. I've tried everything from using 215 unbuffed to 165 unbuffed. Currently 31/20 claw spec seems to be the best dps out put for me.

With the new recipes in 1.10 and new enchants, it's possible to get like 300+ buffed without one purple NR piece. On our kill tonight I had like 290, cause I don't wear every single NR piece since for us it's overkill. Hitting 280+ is prefered for rogues though. Remember, our job isn't to dop damage meters in this fight necessarily. Though we still can put out pretty good DPS in our NR gear, our primary job on Huhuran is to stay alive long enough for the mages/locks to destroy her.

what kind of dps spec would you use tho, seal of fate, combat fist or combat dagers?

I'm combat daggers b/c it works out so much better for everything else. I wouldn't recommend spec'ing a certain way to optimize your DPS on Huhu.

Do you really use 290 nr? Most guilds on our server as well as people im friends with and have done the fight say the usually use only about 150 wearing a couple good nr pieces and than the rest dps gear.

There. That's my only comment on this thread, as attendance and server hiccups have basically prevented us from doing any AQ40 in almost a month, so Fankriss is still clutching my sword in his filthy little feeler-things.

Try it yourself, then you will know why lots of NR is good to have as a Rogue player.

as a rogue on huhuran, you're more of a poison sponge than dps

Recently I've gotten my nr gear up to 258 unbuffed 285 with motw, Ill be trying it this week when we get to huhurahn and ill let u know how it goes. Thanks for all the comments.
