Has someone run the numbers on Jom Gabbar for a rogue? Combat sword specifically, although I'm also interested in combat dagger.

Other random questions:
- Does the trinket benefit rogues more than other classes?
- How much more dps will it offer over earthstrike? What about a Hoj (in a long boss fight vs trash pulls)?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I think it can benefit any physical damage class well. Oddly, when it dropped for us last night, we had few tells for it. I think it's because people are "holding out" for the amazing trinket off one of the end Naxx bosses, which is nuts, because it'll probably be a couple of months before we get there.

it has a cooldown of 2 minutes, and 20 seconds of uptime, so you're getting pretty solid AP value over time with it even by itself. additionally, if you can stack other attack boost abilities with it (blade flurry, rapid fire, etc), you'll get pretty huge returns. i'm looking forward to picking one up soon to go with my 3 minute rapid fires from striker's garb - if i use jom gabber and rapid fire at the start of a fight, and the trinket again as the cooldown comes up, i'll have it ready for a third use right when my rapid fire is ready again, which seems like it will put out some pretty sick numbers.

Timed trinkets like earthstrike and this one will likely generate more damage than passive ones like hoj or blackhands due to the fact that you can combine them with other timers. Any physical damage class can really take advantage of it well since you get so much return out of it when you combine it with things like rapid fire, death wish, blade furry, adrenaline rush, sweeping strikes, recklessness or other similar options.

I expect we'll see some sick hits near the end of this trinket's activation affect, maybe even some pvp videos with nu metal!

There's some discussion on it here. It should answer most of the questions you have. You can also take a look at the rogue dps spreadsheet for the other trinkets you've listed and compare them to the dps of your optimal attack cycle w/ Jom. Your dps mileage will vary based on how much +hit, crit, +skill you have.

I'd say it's equally useful for any physical damage class, but every class may need to change their special attack cycle in order to min/max it (e.g. a warrior will want to bloodthirst on the last tick and work backwards to determine other optimal times to bloodthirst when figuring out their cycle, etc.) If you're willing to burn AR and/or a thistletea it can have a nice burst at the end.

Warriors don't really have cycles the way rogues do. We have cooldowns yes but our rage generation is so erratic that its very difficult to cycle anything.
That said a 20s cooldown basically means: Gain 50 rage,Use deathwish, Use trinket, hit bloodthirst 3 times in a row. If recklessness is up can use recklessness with 15s to go on trinket. Use Heroic strike/cleave/whirlwind as appropriate but do not let your rage go below 30.
That will get you 4 death wished bloodthirsts and the last bloodthirst will hit at the end of the 20s with milliseconds to spare.
