+77 agi from GoA for hunters is more than 10% of 500.

The thing winning it for hunters is that it takes insanely long for ally hunters to go oom. They don't have to drink as often as we horde hunters do. Besides it's rare - at least in our guild - that hunters get a shaman.
The utility of JoW shouldn't be underestimated, but its also not quite the gamebreaker many people make it out to be. Unless you practice very tight debuff control, JoW requires a paladin to be meleeing the target. This is often impractical due to environmental effects (Sartura), positioning (C'thun), or just the fact that it reduces the healing effectiveness of the paladin. So, it may just be my experience (my guild usually raids with 5-6 paladins, and is fairly reliant on their healing), but only when its extremely important that hunters/ranged be able to sustain their mana (or its just plain convenient) is JoW up 100% of the time.
What's hard about turning on auto-attack while you continue to heal? How does that reduce healing effectiveness?

is the line you need, where actionSlot refers to an actionbar slot currently occupied by the autoattack action.
Would you (or anyone else) happen to know a macro to start auto swing when hitting SS, but dont have enough energy for SS? Something I've been half thinking about for a while, but havent gotten around to look up or experiment with myself.

I guess he meant that unless you renew a judgement bei meleeing the target you have recast it quite often resulting in a lot of mana spent. Then again I don't know that much about the pally nowadays since it is only my herbfarmer/blacksmith for since august or so.

Hehe, fights are always amusing when you know barely anything on them on starting out. Kinda like when we first thought we figured out Heigan's tricks 15 seconds after the attempt starts the entire raid is dead almost :-p (expect on hearing about some amusing wipes on that guy till someone reveals the secret to the public)

Also Kaubel definately keep up those flexes they always amuse me :-p

I need to do something useless.

Zuh? They didn't change it at all from week to week for us. 30m respawn time, Acolytes and Cultists used the same abilities.

For us they respawn after like 10-15 minutes and they added a pack that patrols inside her room so after some wipes on the widow you won't have wipe recovery.

We got them spawning on our asses when we cleared the humanoid packs. Maybe it was just us being slow, but that new spider pack wasn't there last week for sure, and it will fuck wipe recovery over at some point if you get some bad attempts.

EDIT: I'm still here timing it now.. over 30 minutes has passed and that particular group hasn't respawned yet. Why add a group that patrols inside her room if it doesn't respawn? I could see the point in adding it if it respawned...

The little zerg pack in Faerlina's room does not respawn. The tunnel trash has a 30min timer.

On the flipside, respawns in general in Naxx are bizarre and fucked. Kill Faerlina, zone out. Come back the next day. The two crypt fiend+spider pulls in the square room after the Anub gate are back. The respawning tunnel trash after that room is gone. But the humanoids in Faerlina's room are all back. But Faerlina is of course dead. It's just weird. And after Raz dies, two random pulls at the start of the DK wing respawn, but nothing else. wtf?

I'm pretty sure the pulls at the entrance to the DK wing are to prevent people from picking up a free raid ID and getting free crafting recipes.

We noticed that the little zerg packs actually despawned pretty soon after you kill the widow. It is wierd though, with getting used to non-respawning trash to have certain sections coming back is annoying. At least if you deal with the packs of cultists and acolytes then you only have a couple of pulls tops to get back in there from an unrecoverable wipe.

One invisibility potion brings you past the respawning guards at the entrance to DK wing.

As for the trash at Grand Widow, none of us can remember seeing that patrolling pack of spiders last time we killed her, but I'll take your word for it. I stayed for 1 hour and it didnt respawn, so you are at least allowed to try the widow for as much as you want.

The worst part about this weird trash behaviour is when the server crashes. Yay all trash respawns!

Why some respawns on 30 min timer and some not at all, I got no idea, probably design decision. However, when stuff like the 3 bile retchers in the second abom room respawn after patchy dies, and nothing else there, at all, respawns. I am thinking the builders flipped a flag the wrong way in their respawn box or forgot to check the "stop respawning on boss X death" Have the same with the 2 packs gurg mentioned just inside Anub'Rekhan door, and some stuff in DK wing (though that might be intentional).

As for trash changes, the little skitteres inside faerlina room, dont remember them from last reset, but killed her too fast this reset for them to have respawned anyway so cant say if they do or not (thread about suggests they dont). 30 min timer seemed a bit inexact for some of them, so not sure they ar eall on 30 min anyway. DK wing had 2 deathknight captains, and a small pack on the right side of the very first room missing, that I remember distinctly from last week ("Do you think they all come if you pull these guys over here? They did, shit this one whirlwinds, all ranged on the square, all rogues on the moon... ... and dont you dare laugh") (raid symbol story added due to earlier condition of the thread).

after getting wiped by a spider pack respawning on top of us in the grand widow's room on the test server, we were happy to see no spiders in her room at all the first time we made it to her on live. the second time...there they were! but they didn't respawn after that. weird stuff.

My guess is the devs were watching and decided Richard Simmons might sue them for theft of gay intellectual property. Hence, no more respawns in that room!

Ah yes, cockblock, thats the first thing I thouhgt too about the easiest wing in the place, that some could clear in first day or two, oh yeah, thats a cockblock allright. Seeing the speed of some guilds, and to a lesser degree my own, everything has been fun, more or less well tuned and bugfree. Some weird trash respawns, and I hear DnT had a problem on thaddius, but nothing encounter breaking there. My guess is that the biggest slowup for progress, depending on how the frost damage is used, will be Sapphiron, based on how much frost ress gear you've got from drops/how many runes you got for crafting.
