The guild formed as a merger from my EQ guild + another guild several months after we started playing on that server.

I chose that server to begin with because of my old guild + the fact that I was stuck on dialup until 10 months ago, so I didn't want to be on a pvp server. That, and I wanted to avoid Goonsquad when the game went live because I wanted to do more than run around and spout catchphrases in ironforge. I assure you, everything that can be said about it has been said by Taeme. Because he's an asshole and Mom hates him.

I have expressed the same concern that you did, about the 'properly prepared' factor. It's utterly ignored. Being a goddamn druid, I grinded to fucking rank 13 to get feral gear since i didn't want to hose myself in our loot system. I believe we're making some bloodvine for priests for rezuvius. We have no problem killing him at all, but to prevent 'oopses'...

Heh, I remember when a priest took a band of forced concentration last year and was mocked relentlessly 'because spell hit helps a priest so much!' Granted, he did actually take it over mages, and that priest was an idiot who dotted a sheep on Skeram ("SWP doesn't break sheep!") and then started 'mindflay kiting' him, but... what do you know, spell hit actually does help priests now!

He's also an idiot for even attacking a mind controlled player at all.

I don't know. I see him around from time to time on his skywall alt, but he's left the server so I don't know if he's actively playing or not.

*Shrug* As I said, skill will let you overcome some of it. Consumables will let you overcome some of it, but at some point, you're going to hit the wall. When the wall arrives, you'll end up going back to pick up garbage, or forcing people to do retarded things (grinding rank 13 to get worse feral gear than the shit you break in aq40). That tends to piss off your members, and then you have to either deal with it, or lose them and regear (using the retarded loot system) new folks.

All in all, a bad place to be. You are slaved to your loot system, when it should work for you. My sympathies. To echo an earlier poster: I really appreciate all the work that went into our loot/recruitment systems when I read threads like this =P

Well for us its standing on top of the corpse at 11pm since everybody is a sleepy baby.

BTW there is a fight in naxx where 39 of your raid are dps for 90% of the time, so your guild will have lots of fun with that with your healers doing a sweet 100 dps each

pren, i dont know what you are goign to have to do to get through to your leadership (druid sipiku maybe) but WOW is a game of small upgrades over a large number of people. i have a feeling that thay're still expecting evercrak like gear progression. it just wont happen in WOW. granted there are some advantages to your loot system, your new apps get geared quickly cause they have more points then some of the full members... oh well. BTW grats on teh horde first tonight/yesterday on blackhand.
