I'm Alliance and Mage, we use: Mageblood potion, Sagefish food, I am specced 18/31/2 for Arcane Meditation 3, and 5 Clearcast, and I use mana citrine at 5:45, Mana Pot 5:00
Mana Ruby 3:45, Mana Pot 3:00, Evoc at about 1 minute, or not at all, depending on clearcasts. With any luck at all, no Evocation.

BoW, and JoW, are invaluable, of course, but Arcane Med makes a big difference also.

On what bosses in Naxx would you use activated trinkets like Earthstrike or Badge of the Qiraji Swarmguard as compared to passive trinkets like DFT / Hand of Justice / Blackhands Breadth ?

Out of morbid curiosity, and to settle an argument I'm having with people about spreadsheeted DPS, I would love for someone to take a 5/15/31 Prot warrior in BWL/AQ quality tanking gear and try and do as much DPS as you possibly can in a fight. Feel free to use whatever buffs you want, just so long as they're documented. A fight like PW or Ebonroc would be ideal, I'd like to avoid stuff like Twin Emps where DPS is fairly impossible to accurately track.

Deathwings Spreadsheet tells me that you can reach 500 DPS on a human prot warrior with TF/Iblis using only standard pots+stones, and I have been instructed "Screenshots or it can't happen" but lacking access to a warrior willing to try it out, I must come here and ask you DPS badasses :)

Yes 500 dps is possible, but it'd need some gear; and there aint no warrior who will spec shield slam if there's a place they will have to dps.

I never said anything about speccing for Shield Slam, more to the point of 'not speccing out of shield slam' because It's always fun to see how much DPS you can do with non-DPS gear.

Our first PW kill. It was about a 5:30 kill total raid DPS was 13,000



Quite happy with 800dps considering my sub par weapons (Pugio + DoVS).

Little disappointed with the mages. They were all flasked.

had a consec. stone, badge of the swarmguard trick (along with the normal pots)
messed up my cycle trying to sneak an extra backstab in and lost about 20 dps -_-

not sure why our mages are so low :\

He means taking advantage of the fact that the -1200 armor buff does not have a timer and you can keep it on you the entire fight without the badge even equipped. If you note his screenshot, he does not have the timer badge buff, but does have the armor buff.

Taikero - That's either superb job done by the Nightfall Bitch, or complete failure of your other mages (or both) I'm very curious what kind of gear is that guy running with that he can pull 500 DPS with Nightfall?

Just spoke with him on Vent. He used his Ashkandi until 70%, then got a reminder to use Nightfall, hehe.
