Seeing people talking about Barov Peasant Caller reminds me that I still have that quest in my log from way over a year ago. What was the longest time between picking up a quest and completing it? I made the Skeleton Key a couple months ago after it sat in my log for eons.
Most greens I've disposed of, save for special ones like Carrot on a Stick.
Blues - if they're part a resist set, or have properties unduplicated by a purple I've acquired, or are part of my Magister Gimmick Special, I keep them. Otherwise out they go.
Purple - total pack rat, haven't vendored or D/E'd one yet.
Gimmicky items and special green effects are the key. Not many knew just how powerful +skill weapons were... wonder how many of those were sharded?
On my shaman I still have boots of elements though, but thats mostly to link to people to impress them. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=18789
I mean come on... 9 agility AND 17 spirit? Can I get the extended warranty on these suckers?
Before people knew how good +skill was, I know lots of ACLG were sharded. So there can be a reward for pack rats ;).
Millions of words are written annually purporting to tell how to beat the races, whereas the best possible advice on the subject is found in the three monosyllables: 'Do not try.'

The item is lackluster, but the five storms upgrade is quite nice 12 stam/str/int/spirt, 12 damage/healing/4MP5

I'm a bit too much of a packrat, but only because Blizzard makes me so.
I was mighty happy a couple patches ago when my alt warlock had his full suit of necropile sitting in the bank (his new discount generic resist set, time to go tank Shazzrah!) Stuff like the demon's blood trinket (how many other trinkets have +def and SR?), shard of afrasa (when did this become mp5 and hp5?), etc. all suddenly become semi-useful and can't be replaced if you trashed 'em. Clearly someone at Blizzard has a sadistic streak.
Full Magister with +7 int on bracers/+150 mana on head and legs/+100 mana on chest, Horizon Choker, Royal Tribunal Cape, 2x Seal of Rivendare, Oblivion's Touch, Argent Crusader with +9 int, blue trinkets to taste. A huge mana pool was all the rage back in the day :)

Are you telling me you never put +22 int on your Staff of Dominance? :V:
shard of afrasa (when did this become mp5 and hp5?).
It was changed in patch 1.11. Makes it a decent trinket for Locks people leveling.

I still have the quest to kill Korrak. I'm hoping Blizz pulls a Thunderfury and turns it into a new quest, preferably near the end of a long chain.
How many of you guys still have your Chained Essence of Eranikus? I remember all the speculation that went around right about the time ZG was on the horizon. I finally vendored that sucker a few days ago.
On top of that, I brought myself to vendor/trash all the gear I hadn't worn in a while. 7/8 of my Heroism went to the vendor (the only piece I still use is the BP) along with my Zandalar Vindicator's stuff (except the belt; WRU Onslaught Girdle). I also have a few assortment of NR stuff that I'm holding on to just in case.
I have a 16 slot bank slot bag devoted just to pets. <_<
Edit- I remember farming for that shirt on my very first 60: A Tauren Shaman who hit 60 in late December of 2004. I finally got the friggin shirt two weeks ago.
I still remember one BWL trash pull where a +33 healing wand and Essence Gatherer both dropped. More Priests were interested in the green than the epic. I lost the roll by 4 and had to settle for Dragon's Touch later.
My Priest had virtually every cloth drop in *BRS/Strat/Scholo/BRD at one point, though they've added a bunch of new stuff now. I think I was missing Shoulders for my full Magisters and Dreadmist sets. The one set that really eluded me was Postmasters - could never get the head to drop.

They added in a quest to turn that thing in to some guy in Winterspring a few patches back. He says some cryptic stuff and there's no followup - it'll probably go in when Emerald Dream plotlines resume.
And, of course, I have a crapload of gimmick items. The three that I will never, ever, get rid of is my Santa hat, my Boquet of Red Roses (shower your target with rose petals!- unlimited uses too!), and my Master Builder's Shirt (the Thunderfury of shirts!).

Someone actually found a use for the unlimited use Rose Petals - throw it up on Ony in phase 2 and it's great for showing everyone where she is. As for pets.. all the cool kids stick with whelplings.

Willing to do endless Scholo runs for Sawbones Shirt. :(
Edit: I still have the lantern from the barrens. Until recently when I was unable to pay for my repairs after BWL one night, I kept Mass of McGowan which was given to me by one very special shaman.
Edit #2: Appleseed your avatar is freakin' awesome.

Shows how much I paid attention to that... Heh. :(

That is ingenious. I generally use it on bosses just to be an ass.
I still have my full felheart (some of which I use for FR), but I de'd my full dreadmist a long time ago. Most of the gimmick stuff I get I destroy after a few weeks. At one time I had 3 AQ mounts (no red ><), but they took up too much space. I still have all the crap for the warlock epic mount event, although its been months since I ran someone through that. I have a bunch of random old quest items for quests I never completed, and every "key" in the game, from the ZF mallet on up. Most of my enchanting mats and anything non-soul bound is on a bank alt.
P.S. I love my Sawbones shirt. Its the best piece of scholo loot evar.
I had never heard of Sawbone's Shirt until today, but oh my does it look bitchin'! As much as I abhor Scholomance, I may just have to farm i...
Fuck you Blizzard, look what you've done to me. :(

Thanks. :) Goes well with my Bubble Bobble ring tone, lawl.
