In one of my older guilds we had someone who would always drop the repair bot in rediculous locations for fun. super close to the bosses aggro point for example.

as you can see I lack the inventory space to go naked for slimes but I have come up with a stylish alternative

No, that's Cryingrogue. I have 2 open inventory slots at any given time.

My faith restored! People with inventory space clearly don't carry enough gear and consumables around with them.

Hehe, nasty place to put a bot, we got some people who consistently die on those things, no frogger experience I guess. I've died twice myself, both times miles away from anything (sync issue I guess, or maybe I'm blind, either way, it went boom). after we kill gluth, and do runs on thaddius, some of the people will sit in the gluth pipe, at the hole, and watch the froggers, betting money on who will live and die. Fun stuff.

I was nowhere near that frogger and I went boom. :(

I didn't die once last night to the Frogger slimes. And I managed to repair in the middle of them. You guys just suck.

I'm glad to know i'm not the only one.

Here is an interesting Naxx tidbit that is not really deserving of its own thread.

So this last week we noticed that the initial trash was up in the plague wing even though we had killed Noth. For whatever reason Noth had respawned so we killed him again.

He did not drop the same loots as the first Noth kill, even with the same instance id and same raid leader.So this data seems to put a nail in the coffin of the Raid leader determining boss loots. The raid leader still may be invovled in some capacity to seed the random number but there are clearly other factors as well. So quit blaming your raid leader when you get taut nexushide etc.

I think any compenent person would understand that raid leader means little to nothing in the loot seeded.


Back to topic, it seems some people are dieing in this "frogger" game. Is the pathing of the baddies random?

No there are 3 lines of slimes that all go from left to right on the path. They move very slow and spawn a good distance apart, but people die because they either have high latency or are dumb and walk right into them.

Nope! Just that some people seem to die to them more often than others.

Sigh, seriously why is this even in question. Loot is random, random in every aspect there is no way around that. If it wasnt random manipulation would ensue and totally screw up the reasons for having a loot table. Might as well have a vendor window where you can choose what want if you could control anything by what RL you have.

I've never doubted the randomness of loot but you will always hear superstitious ramblings. I was just providing some clear evidence that the raid leader is not to blame for the more die-hard conspiracy theorists.
