Hi there guys and gals,

I posted on the Raids and Dungeon forums on WoW-EU and someone referred to you regarding my query. Basically I am curious as to what item prices you have, assuming you are setup on a basic NullDKP system.

A few of us rerolled onto the new european server, AQ, and just placed BWL on farm, heading towards AQ40 but obviously, getting pricing in order is pretty much a priority.

If any one of you could perhaps gimme a hand, I would appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Chocolate

Set piece prices were set above Tier 2 but not by much. The non-set pieces, typically, were set between Tier 2 and AQ set pieces.

For what it's worth, our Tier 3 prices are set pretty high. Not so much because they're more of an upgrade but because we weren't completely happy with the lack of loot priority changes seen in AQ.

In our system typical tier1 is 75-125, and tier 2 is 100-175 (total 700 and 1100 respectively, for all 8 pieces, as a standard). We made the AQ sets 175/200/225 for the boots+shoulders/helm+legs/BP respectively. Some of these end up being slightly overpriced, but that's fine -- our intent was to make people think seriously about whether they really wanted/needed a given piece before taking it, which aids efficient allocation.

As Kaubel noted, we intentionally cranked up all the Naxx loot pricing a couple of notches for two reasons:
1) Induces more churn instead of one person with a 150pt lead looting four 25-50pt upgrades in a row.
2) We don't have to worry about price inflation because Naxx is the end of the line for this iteration of our system.

We settled on 175 for bracers, 225 for gloves+boots+belt+shoulders, and 275 for head/legs/chest, across the board. By our system's standards, that's a lot, but it affects everyone equally, and causes real movement in the rankings as people take items.

Cool, basically from what we are doing this time round is adding resistance gear as assigned items, to be discussed and established between us officers and class leaders.

There is a multitude range of tanking items which we have reduced in price keeping the items "alive" and then the "fun" items which we went pretty high on.

We do use seperate DKP pools, so pricing differences do not come into consideration from one instance to another. We implemented this from the start cause frankly speaking, we are rewarding the people putting in the effort of exploring the new instances but at the same time giving new recruits the glimmer of hope in getting items, hence null dkp too.

Is there a page to illustrate the pricing structure you went with though? I would be curious to see this just to look at what items price wise compare to one another. If this is possible of coarse.

Thanks for your response though:)

Just some more on our structure.

We have a few pools. Class, MC (new server so yes, we do still go to this shithole), BWL, AQ40

Class items for Tier 1/2/3 will fall into class
BWL is non set items
MC is not set items
AQ40 is class items and non set items (cause some are SHIT for certain classes, but at the same time, we cannot consider upgrading.downgrading cause of 5/8 pieces, plus a few more dramatic discussions:p)

Tier 1 235DKP
Tier 2 310 DKP
Tier 3 (planned for around 450DKP)

All upgradable from one to the other pending the DKP spent within the guild, thus giving older members a slight advantage of getting one or two items before newer members loot

AQ40 Chest 60
rest all at 55

Weapon pieces at 75 accross the board

Then tanking items around 30
Upgrading type items around 50-60
One handers 60~
imbalanced one handers 70~

Nature resist items were decided as free cause of the fact that here we will need people to have it. FR items in previous instances was "readily" available to all from grining and so on and so forth, but cheap in comparison to "fun" items.

ect ec
