![]() Does anyone have an explanation for this? Razuvious just died and I noticed this in my combat log - it seems one of our rogues 1shotted an understudy for his remaining life. I didn't notice this before on our prior kill, so I was just wondering if this is normal for the end of the fight or not. |
Wow, I am not even sure what to say to that. Maybe this is a bug?

As soon as Razuvious dies, the understudies gain *insane* weakeness to all damage types, and so will be one shotted by anyone. I've seen SS's of a fireball hitting for well over 120,000 damage.
It's to prevent you mind controlling them throughout the instance to use on other bosses and mobs. |
after rasuvius dies the understudies get a debuff that makes them take a ton of damage
|
Ahh okay that makes sense, thanks for the tip.
|
That would explain it - thanks :).
It must have something of a delay because I recall our priests playing with the understudies making them tank each other after the fight - they didn't seem to die instantaneously. Also, looking back through my combat log, hits were landing for normal looking damage until this one and the understudy keeled over. |
Yeah, noticed this aswell.
Have to get rid of this insane numbers on my critline addon now. -.- |

Hopeless Increases damage taken by 5000%. |
Only the understudies that aren't currently mind controlled when instructor dies seem to get the weakness increase. Those are usually killed by the warrior tanking them so no time to play around anyway.

Had Razuvious died this week, and my MCed Understudy crit one of them for 261k
>_> |
I wonder how feasible it would be to pull patchwerk to the understudies... haha.

Regardless of your silly logic, it would have been quite great if the first WoW AoW kill was done by exploiting the WoW Frozen Moses'
