Seems like trend to post warlock curses immunity on bosses :)
My guild is about to kill the twins (got em to 20% last raid), I tried casting CoT on Vek'lor and I did notice slight delay in Vek'lor's ShadowBolt spam.
I can't seem to find the spell in thott/wowguru, but it seems cast time is around 1-1.5sec, which makes CoT very effective in terms of reducing incoming damage. Warlock healing isn't a problem during this encounter, however, if CoT works, why not use it and make encounter smoother.
Anyone know this fo sho?

I know that we're making very sure that it's up after each teleport, I believe we have designated locks to it on each side (we use warriors to tank both emperor's) - it seems to slow down his buttonmashing shadowbolt some.

Yeah, because he cannot find the key anymore. Logical after all, it's written in demonic. ;)

B2t, I think as long as there is no "Immune" message, it's working. At least that was our observation on Anub'Rekhan. Curse of exhaustion brings an immune message, curse of tongues not.

I find it odd that it's listed as a lvl 20 spell, but the cast time of 1 second and the damage range 3600-4400 seems about right.

CoT doesn't work on Anub.. :(

1.6sec SB, that's 60% reduction in incoming damage from Vek'lor, no?

40% - It's a reduction to 60% of the original incoming damage. But certainly nothing to be sneezed at :)

Can anyone confirm if Curse of Tongues indeed works on Vek'lor? We're currently using the 2 warrior tanking strategy and Vek'lor hits the warrior really hard.

- Curse of Tongues: This spell will no longer debuff the target if they are immune to the spellcast slowing effect


So simply test if it can be put on Vek'lor or not. In our last AQ runs some warlocks did some testing, according to them Princess Yauj and V'klor can't be debuffed anymore. But if you want to be sure, check on your own.

Last time i checked, Vek'lor was indeed Immune to CoT, as is Anub'rehkan. Yauj im unsure,but it does of course work on Skeram.

Vek'nilash is also immune to Curse of Weakness.

You can cast CoT on Yauj but it won't appear as a debuff, nor do you get a message saying "Immune".

As far as Vek'lor goes, you can easily check for yourself whether he is affected by CoT with a stopwatch ;) Herrera beat me to it, though. Vek'lor is not affected by CoT but he is still afflicted by it, as in it appears as a debuff under his profile in the target frame.

When I understand the patchnotes right the Mobs that are now immune to CoT were never influenced by it. Although the curse was up on Veklor it did not do anything which is why they changed it. Mobs that were not affected by it cannot be debuffed anymore. Am I wrong with thiis?

Thats what i thought too. That bosses it did not effect could not be debuffed with it anymore. Since patch (1.11?) we havent CoTed Vek'lor and I personally havent noticed any difference in the speed of the bolts.
