I wish I could remember why I rolled (Male) Undead, but every day I wish I were a Dwarf :( Granted both races look dumb in w/e gear they have IMO, but I liberally use Deviates to offset that.

wotf sounded somewhat usefull, canibalize badass and way longer water breathing king...

i was pretty much spot on, except for the order of which one is the best :P

oh, and troll +throw sounded bad for a mage and berserking was pretty unappealing, and i wanted to be horde...

i wish i was alliance tho... but the BE paladins are coming so im just waiting instead ;)

Troll because even as early as the release in Europe, Undead rogue seemed too popular already. Don't think I even looked at the racials.

Knew my friends from alpha/beta were rolling alliance. Knew I liked paladin class for healing, support and a bit of tanking in 2 man.

I didn't like the looks of dwarves, but the human males were also damn ugly.

So it really came down to liking the human 1-6 area better, and liking the +spirit (it was a long time ago, OK? No mp5 back then) and LOVING the +5 weapon skill.

Trolls are ugly as fuck, and they previously weren't useful for hunters. Taurens were alright, but I liked the way Orc's looked more. Having 5% more HP would be better then a useless pet that does more dmg...

Because Gnome druids were definitely not available. /furious rage

Dwarves were the more popular classes for priests(clerics) in my EQ1 guild.
Dwarves have desperate prayer.

Stoneform/fear ward were not really a big deal to me, were just icing on the cake.

Night elf warrior , Priest , Druid .....

Friend who got me to buy the game was alliance, rogue sounded fun, and I was drunk so gnome appealed. I'd probably have been human otherwise.

Stupid drunkenness, costing me 5 skill and 10% rep. :/

troll because they look incredibly awesome. The beserking and Hex of Weakness made them an interesting choice for priest at least.

I wasn't drunken when I chose my nightelf...i prolly should 've been...else I'd chosen a human or a gnome....n811 racials are imho the worst for a rogue...

Undead spell casting animations, and just looks in general and wotf.

First character (Male UD Rogue, March 2005): I knew I was playing Horde and after reading the manual I was very drawn in to the lore surrounding the Forsaken. I also liked that Rogues had an ability called "Eviscerate," and so it was. Then I found out it was the most common race/class combo Hordeside. Oops.

Most recent character (Female Tauren Druid, May 2006): Needed a Druid and Taurens were the only option. I originally rolled a Male but didn't like the bulkiness of his upper body/shoulders, so I rerolled female.

Night elf racials are pretty much lose for everything except pvp , shadowmeld guarding flags in AB is fun.

Dwarf. I don't regret a thing.

Night Elves were too tall and gangly, Humans have no wrists, and Gnomes were too small.

Tauren look awesome.

Try casting heals :( I'll give you the offensive spell animations are cool, though casting dots/hots and Mind Blast just looks stupid.

True...as a parttime pvper I would even value it if I weren't playing a stealth class already....that's why I mentioned gnomes...escape artist is pretty cool.
