Robes of the Guardian Saint, Battleguard, & Vestments of the Shifting Sands: Are the graphics on these EVER going to change? How about Ternery Mantle?

I hope so.

Half the reason I want Ternary Mantle is for the placeholder graphics. I'll take level 20 over things twice the size of my head any time.

Am I the only one who has gone immune to the graphical horrors of this game and just look through to the stats for the most part? These days I seem to pay as much attention to the graphics of WoW as I would in a game of chess.

I wear Doomcaller's Circlet with Vestment of the Shifting Sands. On a male Undead there is nothing so eyeburstingly hideous.

I once paged a GM asking him if they would ever change the graphic on the Vestments and his response was "Uhh.....real men wear pink?"

You forgot robes of the triumvirate. Those 4 robes put together make the rave suit (continually switching between them). I finally got the last one I needed of them for this epic color changing outfit. I hope they never change it.

Main problem I have with the pink robes is the AQ40 trash before Twin Emps means I stand there trying to target our mages instead of the other pink dressed flying cleaving killing thing next to them.

They don't have a great deal of sympathy when my response to them dying is "wear something different".

Pewsey has heard about tact and discretion, but tends to regard them much as children view vegetables.
Nemesis: "Pewsey is single-handedly turning around every guy in the BB that didn't want to have kids."
Viator: Because I had a baby so I'm better than non-breeders.

Those robes look like a hideous table cloth or something on male models and a pornstar dress on female models. Just look how whorish they are on females compared to males.

we love the graphics due to that fact that looking as if you just hit 60 and are wearing green BoEs increases your chance of surviving WSG quite drastically. its like camouflage heal gear.

Heck, half of the offset BWL stuff is still PH/level-30 stuff for casters. I kinda like it personally. My only real beef with Frostfire (other than the name that an 8 year old could have trumped) is the inherant ugliness of that stuff. I lose two bag slots just for my tuxedo gear in between pulls as it is and that's only going to get worse I see. Hell, even Enigma was better in my opinion.

Meanwhile my melee alts at 60 look like walking death, while in fact they couldn't really hurt a fly.

Every time I see Robes of the Battleguard I get flashbacks to placeholder-era Devout Robes. I'm sure some of you were proud members of the Traffic Cone Club...

I just recently had to comfort one of our healers through RoB issues. We spent a good half hour trying to find a shirt that would make him look less gay, without much success.

He does get ganked a little less in PvP though!

I couldn't agree more. How I wish I'd rolled troll, to hide behind a shadowguard and a tunic, fooling the alliance into thinking I'm a shaman.

While the graphics aren't the coolest, the devs have more things on there mind that changing graphics. Blastershot and Malister's still have level 20 graphics, so there is little hope for your robes.

Maybe after the Expansion...

DK - Ashbane Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.

None of your gripes have anything on Chromatic Boots. Pink dresses are ok since you're casting spells or healing people. But how is a warrior supposed to look badass in pink boots? You never heard of the Pink Knight. I'm just waiting Blizzard to go full circle and make pink leather boots for rogues.

Slight aside: There used to be a macro in SW:G that let you switch through different armour/clothing sets continually whilst you did ran around town - is it possible to run the same thing through say, itemrack? That'd make the raver suit (and the hole in my retina) complete.

Did you see the test-realm rendition of Deathdealer?
