Here's my beer fridge. I initially wanted to have 4 beers on tap at a time but I've been drinking it faster than I can brew it. These are old pictures but currently I've got:
1x case of Fat tire(as always)
1x case of Spatten Optimator
2x 22oz. Stone Brewery Old Guardian barley wine.
2x 22oz. Stone Brewery Pale Ale.
1x Keg of Oatmeal Imperial Stout(Homebrew)
1x Keg of Amber Ale(Homebrew)
1x Keg of European Bock(Homebrew)

Have any of you guys been to Brewery Ommegang up in Cooperstown NY? I've been thinking of making a drive out there next time I'm in NYC. I highly recommend checking out the Stone Brewing out in San Diego as well. I know they're building a restaraunt and beer gardens that should open next spring or something.

This is probably the biggest shot in the dark ever, but hey what the hell. I was in Germany a few years ago. A local beer from Bad Windsheim, Bavaria was Fiestbier bad Windsheimer. To drink it was to nurse at the teat of the beer goddess. I have been looking for it as an import to the US ever since.

Has anyone tried this? Heard of it? Know where I can get it?
Basically, I would pay an arm and a leg to get one bottle.

Why is there Natural Light in the fridge? :-(

If it's for drinking games, then that's cool :-)

Sam Adams Winter Lager is out, I picked up a 6 pack last night. Overall not a bad beer, though for having orange peel and ginger it doesn't really taste much different from an average lager. Still, it's solid and perfectly drinkable.

Thanks for this recommendation. After several years of disliking hefeweizen I have been enjoying the style more and more, so I decided to give the Dunkel a try. It was excellent. I would put it below Chimay Grand Reserve but I can see why you gave out the 10.

General question to stout drinkers: what's your favorite? I've decided on the dry, creamy, simple flavor of Beamish Irish Stout as my particular favorite, and I also really enjoy Arbor Brewing Company's Faricy Fest Irish Stout. However, I'd like to continue expanding my horizons as regards stout.

That natural light was brought over by someone unable to appreciate the taste of fine beer. It sat there for a month until I just donated it to some friends.

The winter lager is a solid beer. It's my favorite of their seasonals and most bars that carry Sam will have it on tap.

i finally got the chance to try la fin du monde the other day. i was pretty impressed, liked it almost as much as a duvel. the former is significantly cheaper, though, so i think i can get more bang for my buck out of it.

Dunno if anyone mentioned it, but Chimay blue label is damn good, and it was the first corked belgian beer I ever had. Goes down smooth, but it doesn't lack body or kick.

Kuhnhenn update:

Had Kuhnhenn Simcoe Silly last night. Best way I can describe it is as a sweet red wine masquerading as a beer. Rich, floral, hoppy but the hops are masked somewhat. Closest thing I can think of is a rich tripel with the hop level turned down. Again, Kuhnhenn makes a smash out of one of my less favored styles.

Time for more seasonals. Sometimes they're gimmicky, but I can't find Scotch Ale yet so I have to make do. This week's sixpack is Magic Hat's winter seasonal "Roxy Rolles." Ignoring the gimmicky name, it's exactly what it purports to be - a fairly hoppy amber ale with a nice bite and finish. Like most Magic Hat, it's quite drinkable and if you enjoy that particular taste it's delicious. It's currently going well with dinner.
