i'm curious as to what "general" consumables guild require various classes to bring for AQTemple and Naxx. by general i do not mean consumables required for specific fights, like GFP for Faerlina, etc. as a tanking warrior i might bring stamina food (usually just the 12 stam/15 min stuff), gordok green grog, elixir of fortitude, sharpening stones, str food and pots. i usually do not bring lung juice/zanza flask of titans aside from use during specific encounters that absolutely require them.

Fort pots, stam food, stam drink, armor pots, healing pots, tubers as a tanking warrior. My guild provides us with the more expensive consumables, if the encounter demands it, such as titans, stoneshields etc.

I'll add NDB, tubers, health pots (yes, I actually used a major health pot on Huhuran a couple weeks ago), and GDS, for the occasional encounter where they're useful. I also have a stack of bandages for the sake of principle but I never use them any more.

As a Warrior, I make sure to bring 3-4 stacks of Major Health Potions, 1-2 Flask of the Titans, 3-5 stacks of Stoneshield Potions, and a few Chimaerok Chops at a minimum.

As a rogue I bring the resist pots needed. Stam food for tanks, herbs for and vials to sell at cost to players who didn't bring major health/mana potions. I also bring major health, combat health pots, mongoose, giant strength and for that very special "oh fuck" moment I ahve a couple limited invulnerability pots.

I always come with mongoose, lesser mana oil, and greater mana potions. For special occasions I might invest in demonic runes, major mana potions and mageblood, but for the most part I just stick to those three.

Mana, HP pots, Mageblood, Nightfin Soup, (Greater) Arcane Elixir, (Brilliant) Wizard Oil and a couple of Limited Invulnerability Potions for those *oops* moments. Or the *oh crap*, whichever comes first mainly. Might bring Troll's Blood on some fights, might bring Demonic / Dark Runes if I remember to farm/buy them.

I used to bring Giants but have lately saved those for serious bossfights.

as a paladin, Normal stuff on farm its Major mana, Major Health, Bandages and thats it.
For attempts on bosses where we have a chance of NOT wiping in 5 seconds its: Brilliant mana oil, Nightfin soup, Major Mana, Major Health, Demonic Runes, Bandages, Mageblood pots, Kitchen sinks and more Brilliant Mana Oil for the rest of the paladins.
Either way I also bring nogginfoggers, deviates, snowballs and engineering toys (nothing like seeing the MT position a miniature Firemaw, and having him SF the raid when he grows back to full size >.< )

Mana oils are pretty much the best things you can carry around. They're way cheaper than Magebloods and can be used on two weapons if you dual wield. =)
Besides those, I usually carry around Mageblood, Dark Runes, Greater mana pots, Mongoose, Stam food, Nightfin Soup, and lots of Thorium Arrows.

As a strictly tanking type I tend to pack:
Flask of the Titans
Chimaerok Chops
Elixir of Fortitude and Rumsey Rum Black Label
Stoneshield Potions (only use them for Maexxna and Patchwerk though really)
Elixir of Superior Defense
Elixir of the Mongoose (extra threat, extra avoidance, extra armor)
Elixir of Greater Agility (for when it's just not worth using a Mongoose)
Gift of Arthas
Major Healing
Greater [x] Protection Potions (I like to carry a stack of each even when I don't think I'll need them)
Swiftness Potions (These are more for stupid things like running back after wipes faster or jumping the really wide slime trail at Patchwerk though, but they have semi-legimitate uses on fights like Ouro, C'Thun or Anub'rekhan. Mostly they're just fun.)
Sometimes I'll carry around a Spirit of Zanza and Blasted Lands buff just for kicks.
I sometimes carry Elemental Sharpening Stones as well, but they're not really worth the time investment. How often am I actually limited by threat to the point where 2% crit will matter?
So yeah, I'm kind of a consumables whore. :p

Only general use consumables would be Thorium Arrows and Mongoose Pots. I usually have Lesser Mana Oils, Combat Mana/Health pots and a couple of Mageblood too, but don't use them nearly as often.
We did AQ for the first time today since 1.11 came out, and I was pleased to discover that I can now do Emps without mana pots or drinking. Definately like what Naxx has taught in the field of Mana regen :)

The above post mentioning thorium arrows reminds me (even though I'm a warrior, not a hunter...) I always feel gimped when I don't have my ice threaded arrows. Not because I'm actually doing noticably less damage in any way, just because it doesn't look as cool. This often leads to me stopping in Alterac and wasting time on my way to Naxx once a week to stock up.

This is my bag of general consumables, and goes with me to any 40 man instance basicly.
Blessed wizard Oil, Flask of Supreme Power, Nightfin Soup, Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chop, Brilliant Wizard Oil, Greater Arcane Elixir, Heavy Runecloth Bandage, Lesser Mana Oil, Mageblood Potion, Major Healing/Mana Potion, Nature Protection Potion, Greater Nature Protection Potion, Greater Fire Protection Potion.
And even more for specific bosses. WTB more bag space :(
