I don't think I've ever witnessed this as being the case for any new people who join our guild. Then again, those people are very few and far between, and are often family members/good friends of current guildmates, so they're treated like extended family.
History, Gear, Mood, Consumables, 'skill', Nationality, percieved threat; would probably be things that would influence Joe Bloggs treating a guild member in x way, whats the point in this thread?
Nay. I do the recruitment in my guild and I'd like to think that not only our recruits, but also our applicants are treated very well, barring any past with them that members have.
Standard operating procedure for most guilds? Yay or nay?
