since a lot of people read and write on this forum, I was wondering if anyone owns this keyboard and how he/she uses it for WoW, and in particular
1)how do you use your LCD with WoW
2)how did you setup your keybindings in relation to the class you play and how did it change your playstile.
The LCD is great for seeing who is talking on Ventrilo. I never really used it for anything else, and I didn't use the macro keys for anything since I was far too lazy to program them.

The macro keys don't seem to work that great when doing multiple actions -- sometimes wow responds so slowly the first few keystrokes are lost. So complicated stuff is probably out, but I enjoy having the extra buttons and mapping them to 3rd/4th/5th action bar bindings. I also use them to trigger proper in-game macros when I'm two-boxing.
The "who's talking on vent" feature is really nice, as is control of Winamp.
Ventrilo and Fraps are the main things I use the keyboard for. Aside for the really nice action on the keys.
I have a total of three macro keys bound, all mapped to obscure keys, such as Alt-L Alt-K etc, for decursive, fishing and one for my alt, hunters mark + Pet attack.
I'd really like for the wow plugin to be more useful, so I could configure it to show numbers of reagents/pots/+healing etc.
Guildmates of mine have apparently been having issues with the G15 keyboard and its performance in WoW, wherein it would completely freeze at very inopportune times. This was several weeks ago, so they've probably managed to fix it, especially given that I haven't heard any further complaints, but I thought it still bears mentioning.

Its hard to be sure, with cross server bg and the general performance of our realm, but it feels like the keyboard at times will induce lag. Mostly it doesn't feel like server side lag, as actions fire quickly enough - instant actions are still instant. However rapid combinations of actions do sometimes seem to fail, with particular keys being reluctant to work. E.g. Vanish > CS > BS will result in Vanish, BS (thats ` ; 2 ; 3). I have also had issues where certain keys seem to fail completely, where all other actions are functional (not always the same keys though, and its possibly just a fault with this particular keyboard or area of keys).
All that said, the feel of the keyboard is excellent. Very responsive and the weighting of the keys is superb. I agree with Manic on the LCD front, more options would be good - but for Fraps/iTunes/mpc it works a treat.
Oh, and one macro, for my alt - which equips tank set and flicks to def stance. Tis handy.
As a priest, it lets me have many different ranks of heal spells on my bars as well as a number of potions for "oh shit" moments where I don't have time to click around and don't feel like memorizing some funky key binding. I think there are a few other mods on curse for the G15 keyboard, but I haven't tried them.
I use that addon too. I don't really make much use of the macro feature that much because, as has been said, it's a bit unreliable for complex actions and as a hunter my needs are usually simple enough to be dealt with easily by the in-game script macros. The addon is nice because it basically gives me one-button access to 18 more skills without having to screw around with scrolling through the standard hotbar or setting up alt-macros or crazy stuff like that.
I do find that occasionally the G keys will stop registering until I open the Keyboard Profiler taskbar app and switch back. It's not that common and doesn't really cause much trouble.
I imagine it would have to check to make sure you're in zerker, then use rage, then check to see if you've used rage, then cast defensive, so you'd have to mash the button a bit.
anyone knows if is it possible to see guildchat or whispers or "text" coming from WoW on the LCD?
anyway, since i play a hunter i shall add that i definitely plan to assign every aspect and every tracker to those addtional keys and in general i think the additional buttons will be most useful for situational spells/actions.

With the lcd you can view:
-Stats (info from character screen, plus durability and open bag slots)
-BG info (HK's, killing blows, players on each side), this screen pops up when a bg pops incase you're tabbed out
-Incoming whisper and auction house notices, you dont see the actual whispers, just "Whisper from name"
-Login queue
It's pretty neat but not very flexible, hopefully addons can modify it soon. You'll probably be using it with a teamspeak or ventrillo plugin to tell you who's talking

Actually, Blizzard's as much as said that the G15 will never get addon-controlled information display because of the potential to use it for botting - it would provide an output from the sandbox to the real world, basically, and Blizzard's closed all those outputs pretty methodically over time.
What I've found is that the G15 is perfectly happy with two near-simultaneous button presses, but it sometimes/often chokes on the third (annoying for me because Vanish and Escape Artist are bound to metakey combos Ctrl-5 and Ctrl-0, respectively, so I have to stop moving momentarily yesIkeyboardmoveleavemealone in order to Vanish).

/me surreptitiously begins posting on these forums.
I've found the built in support for WoW to be moderately handy. I use it for Durability, Crit %, DMG, Slots, Soulshards (when on my lock), and ammo. The Battleground part of it isn't all that handy unless you masturbate to high Killing Blows counts. I only use the side macro keys for RTS games (quite useful to be able to hit one button X times to make X workers, soldiers, whatever).
However, it also helps WoW in the sense that I can control WinAMP and other such programs without having to alt-tab (even though WoW is probably the most alt-tab friendly game ever).
im sorry to beat a dead old dog and all but i just got this keyboard and wasnt even aware of its existence.. Nor am i very good at finding mods. But could someone show me a link to where i could DL the ventrillo plugin to use the LCD. And how do i get it to read all the stuff in game i honestly just dont know =X. Would gladly appreciate any info.
The official beta ventrillo version on the vent website has built in G15 support. No seperate mods needed. WoW needs an update to the LCD manager software before it pops up, but after that it's automatic as well.
Which saves on bar space onscreen, and no I'm not going to open my spellbook to port someone >.>
The LCD is absolutly amazing, best feature. The biggest for me (big pvper) is that you can queue, tab out to AIM etc, and when the queue pops, it will show on the LCD. I'd swear it didn't do this at first, but only started after one of the patches, but it works now and it's great.
You can also use it to control iTunes ingame, view people talking on Vent/TS.

Would u be able to guide me to the mod for ingame features or maybe i am just not seeing. Like i said im not to avid with mods i actually found the beta version on vent but cant find the ingame mods that allow the LCD to work.
I use the display to track basic character info (it's pretty much Titan Bar)
And I have a few basic macros I have setup on the macro keys. Shift to Def Stance, equip sword+board, swap out to better weapons for execute spamming. Basic stance dance/zerk rage macro. Stuff like that.
The g keys arent that useful to warriors though, mainly because as a druid in PvE you're not using your movement keys too much, and in PvP the important ones (self rejev and NS+ht) were still easy to reach, but as a warrior I feel I'm pretty much tied to my wasd at all times.
