I'd like to ask for people's experiences on something. Over the last 2 weeks, I've been doing primal earth -> primal water transmutes. I've done about 15 of them. I haven't got a single xmute master proc. Now I know that 15 is a relatively small sample size, and that's why I'm asking here, to expand that sample size. But my question is, has anyone had an xmute mastery proc of a primal -> primal transmute?

Yes, in fact there are several screenshots in this thread of people getting [Primal Might] x5 from a mastery proc.
Just keep on transmuting, you're bound to hit one at some point.

For past 2 weeks it didnt procced even once,i really regret choosing that kind of specialization. If they wont invent something new in transmute specilaization - i really see no use of taking it.

I've got free primal mights and diamonds, what I was worried about is that things like earth -> water weren't eligible.

I had a few procs, but in the past two weeks I've had nothing. I'd like to hear if potion and elixir specialists are still getting the same proc rate.

I've gotten a 5x fire transmute on an air->fire so they're definitely eligible.

There is a Warlock in my guild who would be infuriated by this. He's had 10-12+ Might transmutes and seen nothing. I don't know if he's seen any procs off of any transmutes.
Randomness, eh?

Yep randomness sucks Nearly three weeks of daily transmutes, and only had one 2xPrimal Might proc. (But still enough to make my Runed Adamantite Rod)
I'm just looking foward to the day my initial investment is recouped.

I have only had two procs since I leveled up Alchemy which resulted in a 2xMight and a 4xSkyfire Diamond. I am still pretty pleased with the amount of procs I have gotten though I am probably at something like 20 transmutes.

Transmute mastery is definitely not the choice if you aren't a patient person. Over the course of many transmutes (100+) you will begin to get closer to the expected yield.
Even then, since randomness can often have streaks, you may be above or below the expected amount. The exact same thing happens with Potions and Elixirs. I've had someone make me 20 potions without a single proc. The difference is, you can just make 20 more potions right away and you will completely forget about your bad run earlier. When you are doing one transmute every 1/2 days, you tend to remember those bad streaks.
For every person that hasn't had a proc, there is a person who's had 50% procs. It will all balance out in the long run.
