Dalaran is in the same Battle Group as Mal'Ganis so I see folks all the time in AB.

I find I've been 2-shotting a *lot* of people these days. And that's with a 1.6 speed MH (HoD). WTB Maexxena's Fang pls.

I'm also working on my 'playing with someone healing me' game, as in almost 9,000 HK's I've only played with a healer for less than 5 games (including that one w/ Scheme) - so my first reaction upon getting healed is "WTF?" which then turns into "WHEEEE" and I go off on some suicidal tangent giving said healer palpitations and having them regret their decision. I'm working on convincing a priest to run around with me though, so maybe next time I won't embarass myself so much. :D

I haven't run into an EJ team in WSG yet, but we did go up against Overrated the other night and get roundly spanked.

Thats really a bummer Ranalis. They really should have made some effort to balance population on servers as skewed as that.

We are now at that 'what weird time can most of us be online to kill thaddius' stage. Because it seems unlikely that we will be killing him during prime time. Meanwhile so many people have left Tichondrius that it is now a low/med pop server. It has been sucky for 2 years. When we were high pop there were no hardware transfers available. Now enough people have left that we are not up for a transfer anymore, yet the problems still persist. BG9 needs the new hardware so badly but we will not get it till expansion I fear.

Cenarion Circle's (Alliance) queue times didn't change at all with Cross Server BGs.

Still sitting on half hour to two hour queues.

Even funnier, the person who transferred to the other server in the Mal'Ganis battlegroup completed the transfer and got into 1 AV and 5 or 6 ABs, maybe more, before I got into a single WSG last night.

I can't wait to be done with this crap.

News to me.

oh, I looked at the profile. That 'pvp' set was me seeing how much stamina/dmg you could get by only wearing gear obtained via pvp supplemented by craftable gear.

I believe you were only under me by a few kills at #2 in our AV farmfest.

I have been as well, and I'm only mainhanding a DFB. So many people on the other servers go to BGs in blues and greens, and then there's a nigh endless stream of PvE mages in full Netherwind -- who just die like they're wearing blues and greens.

And yes, I'm currently trying to figure a way to bribe someone for a Maexxna's Fang (or DS) and just go to PvP full time.

A mixed EJ/Aurora/irregulars group actually ran into your AB team a couple of days ago - it was a fun match even if I still suck at pvp and had something shameful like a 7/5 ratio.

I may have to actually break out Zappy at some point. :)

I'll also agree with the 2-shot thing - it seems like a lot of cloth casters from PvE servers haven't quite figured out the whole AC and Stamina thing, and most terrifyingly routinely forget to apply their self-buffs. Death's Sting makes hitting priests with no Inner Fire up quite amusing.

I still feel gimp with 3770 and in bgs I see mages running around with barely more than 3100. These are the ones with mana enchants and regen on their bracers. I feel sorry for them in pvp.

i have mana regen on my bracers and i'm a hunter! :-P i do, however, still have 5700 health (5800 if i use barb instead of eye of nerub). mmmm health.

i've been trying to get a pvp group together recently, but naxx really makes it hard - both because of how many nights we raid and how many of us are pure PVE specs. lots of people don't want to PVP without PVP specs, and we certainly don't have the gold to respec every night or every weekend. :

According to some Blizzard posts on the test realm forum, you can abbreviate the servername as long as it's unambiguous. You can even omit it, as long as you put a dash behind the player name.

I know that I suck at PvP, so I don't engage in it, except by accident (typically when one of my healer characters gets flagged from healing an NPC during an escort quest). Therefore, I have no rank. If I ever decide that I want to check out battlegrounds regardless, that'd probably be a nightmarish experience for the alliance team. :)
