Now that Flasks and stances are "protected," what happens if you over-buff? I'm asking because we had a very mysterious MT crit at Patchwerk yesterday, and I'm wondering whether it could be explained by him losing the effect of one of his enchants.
Back in 1.9 I believe I saw a tank lose all his debuffs except Flask right on a Firemaw pull. Strange and pretty lucky on our part, I guess, if the 'buff crash' was going to happen anyway.
I'm guessing it's still a FIFO system with flasks and def stance being pushed to the top of the stack every iteration. Which would explain the crit you got, as the +def enchants would now be on the bottom of the pile.

Remember in EQ when we had to buff in the order of useless --> most beneficial when fighting bosses that dispelled?
Good times.

This post makes me glad that I didn't start MMO'ing until Dark Age.
'War' is too small a word for what I'm fighting. Like a candle in front of the whole burning Sun. Now, I am not going to die today. I have other projects, and other options.
My wife has you beat by 12 hours. (She was a cleric and reeeeealy wanted those boots.)

Man, I still remember grinding that one bitch in some random room in some dungeon whose name I have forgotten, I was in there for like half a day and finally they dropped and for some reason I got to loot them instead of everyone else even though it wasn't my place in line.
I promptly went outside with a friend who had ninjad a pair and we ran around like happy idiots spamming them all the time. Ahhh, the good old days.

The dungeon was named Najena... and the mob's name was... Najena.
In 1.12.1 certain enchants will no longer count towards the total buff limit (I dont know which) according to the 1.12.1 patch notes the alpha F & F people for some reason get on their alpha client patches. Hopefully this goes for a lot of them so it won't be a problem anymore.

Ugh. I became a guide a month into retail, and the days of playing referee during those J-Boot camps were a damned headache.
