We're working on Ouro now, so I'm wondering how much time you think would be put into learning the Kri last strategy (as opposed to Vem last). We can reliably one shot the Trio each week, and we only go kill them when we don't have enough time to work on a progression boss.
I assume the order for this strat is Yauj - Vem - Kri? How much NR would you wear for this, compared to say Viscidus: the other raid-NR check (Huhuran being a melee-NR check).

I'm being completely serious: Killing Kri last is *significantly* easier than every other order we've ever done.
Essentially, we pull Kri to the right side of the room with a tank and some healers. Then Vem/Yauj are held on the opposite side and we dps Yauj down asap. Then Vem is killed by stacking all the dps on that side of the room together to negate the charge. Once those two die Kri berserks for +100% dmg +150% attack speed but still doesn't hit too hard, plus if you want at that point you can shield wall. With all your dps on Kri and fears/heals he goes down in no time.
As for NR, I don't think we really wore any. The only people getting bolted were the MT and MT healers so we just had some extra heals on them. Wearing about 100ish NR will help a bit though.

A nice bonus is that when Kri dies you get to see who is willing to pay dura to see what loot dropped.

Do you have a photo of a plaque that announces you as having a degree in WoW that I can show my guildmates? I've been trying to convince them to kill Kri last for a while now. We've killed Yauj once and Vem like 25 billion fuckin times and we ALWAYS get that STUPID plate belt and other USELESS items from those two.
The only reason for us to kill Vem is for the healing neck. There is NO reason for us to kill Yauj. Whereas Kri drops a healing ring, a caster wand and a leather chestpiece that we could easily make use of.
Everything else is basically 1 or 2 nexus crystals.

We had generally always done Vem and once or twice Yauj until recently when we started doing Kri last. Like Nurru said, it is not that difficult at all. It took us I believe two attempts to kill Kri last after we learned the strategy.
We tank Kri in the alcove on the farthest side of the room from the entrance on the left and Yauj/Vem on the side where they all start at. The poision usually hits just the Kri tank/healers and some people who are chasing after Vem/Kri or are too close. Once you kill Yauj the fight is pretty much over. If the healers on Kri are doing fine you can take your time killing Vem and lets healers regen some mana if they're low. Once Vem is dead you just have the tanks blow shieldwall, it may take multiple tanks depending on how lucky you get with poisions which will tie up a lot of the healers cleansing. Oh and make sure to run in and loot him to check out phat loots.

we have had the bug family on farm for a bit (maybe 5 total kills?). we always kill kri, yauj, and then vem last. the last 2 kills we got a regala (elementium ore casters quest peaice). pretty sweet deal considering its 5% drop rate.

We've always gone Kri-Yauj-Vem when we bother to do the bug family. That way makes it a bit more fun, especially when the healing neck sits there.

More fun? That's the way 99% of guilds who kill the Trio do it. Live a little, kill Kri last.

We suck at it, that's why we don't do it. Heck, getting people to even think about the family is like pulling teeth.
Most people want to finally kill C'thun but thanks to scheduling problems with people, having our main tanks take sabbaticals, some fun turn over, and just strange events (like this 36 hour upgrade time) we've gotten 2 nights of C'thun shots.

Oh Sh-

I honestly have to agree with nurru - You can drag kri so far away from everyone else that the poison volley is not an issue, and you can have the mt with 2-3 healers able to keep himself and the rest of the group up without fail forever.
The only difficulty to this method is Vem coming over to say hi to one of the MT's healers, but thats easily mitigated. Kri last is signficantly easier then even vem last, now that we've gotten it down. A simple metric to detirmine whether or not your guild can kill kri last is wether or not you can clear to Noth. If you can handle the double gargolyes pulls, you can obliterate this fight
And yes, real men kill vem first.
And as a flag runner, im eagerly awaiting the next scarab drop. FAP + Scarab + Meta Rune = SMB star music in WSG.

You forgot to mention the importance of having Yaug controlled so she doesn't run over to the cubby Kri is in and heal up while raping the healers that are keeping up the Tank on Kri.
But yeah, I feel silly that we didn't do Kri last earlier after seeing how easy it was.
