Hello everybody.

Long time reader first time poster.

Anyway cuting down to the chase . I just want a confirmation.

Right now there is only one slot for temporary weapon enhancements. If you got poison on your blade you ain't getting WF.

So my question is. Dose having WF poisons / stones on the off-hand reduces in any way the WF rate. Right now WF procs on the off-hand with Main Hand swings...

Thank you for your time.

Windfury Totem only applies to the weapon equipped in your Main Hand. Has anyone ever experimented with weapon-hand swap macros when using two one-handed weapons, as the totem pulses every 5 seconds to apply a 10 second weapon buff after all? It could be interesting to see the results. I doubt it'd work, and I also doubt it hasn't been tried before, but who knows.

WF totem only affects the MH weapon, so you can do whatever you want to your off-hand, it isn't going to affect MH buffs.

I guess you could swap the MH to OH once you get the WF buff, but then your MH wouldn't have the WF buff for 5 seconds, so that is counter productive.

If they were smart they set it up like a 'buff' and it's only actually applied to the weapon in your main hand no matter if you swap after getting the buff on your weapon or not.

Poison = { stone, oil (hey, whatever), poison }

1. Poison MH, Poison OH = no WF
2. Poison MH, empty OH = no WF
3. Empty MH, poison OH = WF
4. Empty MH, empty OH = WF

Therefore because of 2, no.

It lasts for nine seconds, and refreshes itself every fifth(?) second, so could be doable to switch, alot of global cooldown use and dunno if it works, will try it out.
