Hey guys, I'm going to try a build using Ambush and Hemo, but can't decide what to do with the rest of my points.
I'm mostly trying to open with ambush and then take it from there.
This one uses Riposte, as not always I'll have the opener as i won't be in stealth and am getting attacked. I'm thinking that with this i'll be able to generate many points with set up. I like reposte as any melee should be toast not using a main weapon. I really like the 150% weapon damage and the low need of 10 energy.

Obviously this is most (only?) useful against melee types.

This one uses Lethality for bigger crits with Hemo and Ghostly, and has a plus on the energy recovery side.

I'm planning on using a MOD which switches from daggers to swords when popping out of stealth and vice versa.

Bottom line is, i can't wrap my head around which is more suitable for PVP, as this is my focus. Any input is very welcome!

Thank you,

Hass

Thanks, but that didn't really answer my question.

Are you saying a) to read that thread and find answers there or b) to ask within that thread?

If a), i've read through it before i posted and read through it again, but none of my questions were tackled.
The thread dicsusses Lethality and Deadliness, but i'm going to take Deadliness anyway.
My question was should i take Lethality or rather Riposte.
In addition, I'm using Ambush as an opener in certain situations, and that option is not at all part of the thread, so the given information is not applicable to my questions.

If you were referring to b), well, write it out for me so i can adhere.

Thanks.

Daggers and hemo do not mix, at all. I understand (or at least I would hope this is what you are thinking) you are most likely going to be switching weapons after your ambush opener, but you are gimping yourself blowing points on dagger talents when you are mashing hemo with swords.

If you do not plan on using daggers, do not waste your points on hemo.

Daggers and using the skill Hemo don't mix, but using daggers in a Hemo build does mix (via using Ambush).

Your second build is better for PvP, but you want to get Murder (2% more damage on your targets is quite nice). Also, I would get MoD over Opportunity (since you only get a usage out of Opp when you Ambush, but MoD is always useful).

You should take Lethality over Riposte.

DK - Ashbane Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.

yar, if you want to use an opener besides CS with hemo your choice is garrote which isn't that bad now since it scales with AP and hemo builds require you to be AP heavy anyways.

Thanks for your input.

Yes, as stated before, i'm using a MOD which automatically changes from daggers to swords when i pop out of stealth and vise versa. So if i'm going for a stun lock, then only the cheap shot would be performed with daggers, from there it's all swords.

I kept ambush and opportunity in the build as i do like 1500 damage Ambush against clothies.

I have respecced already before the comments were made to Riposte. I'll give it a try as I got weak looking at 150% weapon damage with 10 Energy. I certainly does have disadvantages tho.
Anyway, i'll check it's usefulness in PVP, and if that's no good, i'll give Lethality including murder a try.

Thanks for your input, if you have anything else for me, i'd like to hear it!

PS: I forgot to mention why i want Ambush in there. I have the lobotomizer and feel as a purple weapon it needs to be used :)
