It's even interactive for our viewing convenience.

Ignie Ferroque translates from latin to "with fire & with sword." It is a stock phrase used to describe the results of a destructive raid into an enemy's territory, whose sole purpose is to generate fear, terror, and destruction.

If everything listed on the map is ready to go at release I can't really see how you'll have any shortage of content to consume and be stuck grinding it out. Hopefully that turns out to be the case.

20 new instances, 5 of which are raidable. Sounds like a lot of new great content :). My question tho, is do they mean 10 man or 25 man raids in regards to the raid description. My guess maybe 3 of the 5 are 25 mans, being magtheridon's, black temple and eye of the storm.

edit: forgot to add a raid to the list.

The (presumably goblin) town of Area 52 amuses me a great deal.

I look forward to the content available at the expansion.. I enjoyed leveling up to 60, and I expect to enjoy it up to 70.

LOL at Area 52.

I wonder if Netherstorm was what a developer was referring to as the part of Outlands that requires a flying mount to get to. Since they can't render in 3D, it's quite possible it's above the rest of the areas.

Five mid-60s level zones? Does this scream huge time investment from 60 to 70 for anybody else?

They did say 60-70 will be as long as 1-60 is now. So yay to that. :)

I wonder how large these zones actually are. Imagine how many people are going to be crammed in Hellfire Peninsula for the first couple weeks. Now factor in PvP servers.

If I remember correctly, the Magtheridon's Lair raid within Hellfire Citadel is a 40 man raid very much the same as Onyxia, in that it's a get in/kill a bitch/get out. We know that Kharazan is 10 man. The others, I'd assume, are unknown and up for grabs as far as total players allowed.

Yeah, I hope they reveal a definitive number for time investment between 60 and 70. Also, does anyone have any information on Gruul's Lair? This is the first time I have heard of such an encounter and WoWWiki fails me as well.

Based on current alpha leveling rates, that statement was *wildly* inaccurate.

There is NO SUCH THING as a 40 man raid in the BC Xpack. Where have you been?

There are 5 instances listed for lvl's 70-72. Wouldn't it be safe to assume that a couple of those are 10 man and the "Raid" are all 25 man. From the magazine descriptions each instance had 3 or more wings it sound like with each wing requiring a large size party. First wing is 5 man, 2nd wing is 10 man and the 3rd wing is raid.

This also doesn't include Kharazhan which is 10 man and Caverns of Time which sounds like is also winged!!

Obviously the most important question remains: How do we get to Outland beyond the first time we go through the portal? Do mages have portals to one of the outposts? Do people without ports need to go to Blasted Lands every time they want to go to Outland?

caverns of time is indeed a winged area. Got to poke around it on live. It was either 3 or 4 seperate instances.

Someone asked this last week on WoW General and a blue said that every major city back in Azeroth will have some sort of entrance to the Outlands once the opening event is done.

Interesting to note- why the hell are there 4 cities per zone? I could have sworn they said each new area was about as big as the EPL map. Doesn't that seem a bit crowded to have 4 towns/cities/villages in?

What's the "faction" shit? If I end up having to grind faction just so I can bind, sell and repair at the most convient location I will be pissed.

So i guess it's pretty safe to assume the dungeons labeled "RAID" are probably 25 mans. It's probaby just like Blackrock Spire as there is 5 man LBRS, 10 man UBRS, and 40 man BWL.

Now that people mention Karazhan, i still really wonder why they made it that damn HUGE with it being only for 10 people. There must be a ton of content. I hope you can ride a mount in it because getting from the stage to the library is painfully long.

Is anyone surprised at the screenshot of the Nagrand area? There are parts of Outland that are not destroyed?
