One thing I've noticed, which benifits faster weapons exclusively, is that the server lag issues that make FastCast viable and the like affect hunters.

What does this mean?

It means that moving .2 seconds before an autoshot and starting an aimed shot, and .2 seconds before an aimed completes, actually increases your net dps considerably. Basicly it's just that dependant upon your lag that shot has 'already' fired, so by incorporating that into your shot cycle you will shorten your cycle to actualy 9 second or so..


This is pretty hazy and dependant upon lag, but something that might be worth looking into.

I've noticed that on the Twin Emperors. I've actually gotten pretty good at timing my movement forward to Pack up the melees so that it occurs just before an autoshot goes off - I start moving then the arrow fires a split second later. I havn't tried to exploit it to gain DPS though, though that gives me something to try on the next fairly static fight I come across. Dunno when that'd be, though.
