Generally a mobs dodge and parry rate is 5% + additional through increased defense (and therefore 5,6% for level 63 mobs).

Though, kenco's and others recent research showed that this assumption seems to be not entirely correct.
E.g. paladin and warrior type mobs seem to have an additonal 5% parry chance, and not all mobs can block.

As far as I have experienced, when a mob blocks me it's 100% mitigation (ie: the same as a parry or dodge, just with a different name). Maybe I am wrong though, and need to pay more attention to my sct.

hmm no. i tested sct damage lately in westfall on some poor trash mobs and some of the troggs (without having a shield) blocked 3-5 of my damage...jesus i want to block without a shield too.

I was sure I'd seen sunder armor get blocked before. It would appear similarly to this:

But I can't find it in my logs, so I must be going nutty.

Afaik changing stances has a cooldown of your ping, similar to shield block?
Although I always thought it was just the gcd. (on closer inspection of my dab its definately not. yay for 600ms!)
