Cloak of Firemaw vs Cloak of the Scourge

Tonight in raid I grabbed the Cloak of the Scourge to use in place of my Cloak of Firemaw, but I'm really torn on how much of an upgrade the Scourge cloak is. I'm really only interested in usage for raid dps. Which cloak should I use?

Id say its better than firemaw, i like +hit Cloak of Concentrated Hatred is better tho imo.

Use the spreadsheet. At best, under buffed conditions, they will be about equal as far as dps goes. For most conditions I think you'll get a little more dps out of cloak of firemaw. Scourge is great for pvp and trash clears at the very least.

If given the choice to pick between 20 AP and 1% hit, I would take 20 AP. It's close under some circumstances though.

A dead rogue does zero DPS so in many chaotic encounters you better off using CotS, however CoF is better for pure DPS. Get the cloak from azzy already ;)
