Yeah, a couple of people in our guild got that mail this evening.

Haven't heard of anyone in the guild getting such a message. Even if we did get one though, doubt we'd participate since Kel'Thuzad is sort of higher priority :p

What I'm most curious is when the speed leveling / blizzcon beta invites will be going out.

So this is the actual beta invite and not just the 'We're going to be inviting you' mail?

If we use 25 Beta Invites I can see our raiding collapse as people forget there are live servers to play on.

I'll probably hand ours out based on seniority/attendance. We only have like 45 active raiders anyways.

Wow only 25 invites? Thats pretty cruel

yeah, it should be at least 30. If they want people to test their 25man instances they should let us bring in a larger pool to ensure a guild can go on a typical night without attendance issues

I plan to have people share accounts. We all have each others account info anyways :p The problem is going to be splitting time between Naxx and Beta.

I got the email. Huge headaches incoming and drama over who gets picked as well as half the guild not logging on to raid on live servers anymore.

yea, but from a progression standpoint it will also be nice to get a headstart on other guilds as well by playing beta.

I haven't personally gotten one of these emails, but my GM has and he said it sounds like a hoax. doesn't look like it's from blizzard, no signature, and they ask for account names of 25 people in your guild - something I'm pretty sure blizzard wouldn't do. no signature, etc. he's waiting to see how it pans out before replying, if at all, because he agrees that naxx is more important anyway atm =p

The screen shots I have seen asked for Real Name, email. No mention of account name.
