I was making some runs on the Firebrand Pyromancers in LBRS (this is their actual name).

Time to really beat up Firemaw and Chromaggus again to make them drop that frigging weapons again after 3 months.

Im one of those solo it just to solo it guys. Another confirmed method of soloing ebonroc is kiting him around Vaels room. That method works better with a few hunters because the others can just stand in the center of the room and shoot as he flies up the stairs, around the ledge and back. I did it far enough to prove it worked fine (80%) but didnt want to gank the guild out of the loot. Good thing too since he dropped priest gloves later that night. Before the patch where they fixed the linking on the tech packs, I used to solo pull spellbinders, overseers, and the techs to farm epics and elementium. Spellbinders were easy to kite around razorgore's room and overseers in Vaels room. BRD is easy, a lot of LBRS is easy. Hunters have a huge advantage because we can kill a mob in a pack and FD over and over. To buy a little extra time just send in a disposable pet to agro the pack then nuke the one you want and FD. Soloing coffer runs for burning essence was a great revenue stream. Takes 15 min to do it solo, and only two of the spawn points arent worth the effort. Get the burning essence, create the +20 fire enchant from libram of resilience, and sell for 200g applied to someones item. Soloing the larva in AQ20 is a nice revenue stream. They drop a nice BoE priest wand, BoE world epics, larval acids, scarabs, and idols.

Quite a while since I did him last, I do remember i never got sacrificed though. Not sure if I stunned him or interrupted it. Need to go back and check.

If it's interruptable he should be cake. Spell Alert + Kick should be gg. I'm going to be an a iron man mood after tonight (completing my Thunderfury) so I will be giving some of this a try.

Is it me btw or are the very little 'gold boss farm' things (if any?) a shaman can do? Iron man scenarios should be possible since hugging mana pots/NDB increases our longlivity by a hughe amount.

As a def warrior i can and have solo-ed all of maradon thats gets you about 25-35g per run and all but 1 pull can be avoided. Note noxxion needs buffs and 2 NR pots as a warrior.

Also you can farm the invokers in LBRS for the GFPP recipey though you have to get naked and die to reset it. And if the mob down the stairs with the dogs is level 54 instead of 53 you cant sneak past them.

But yeah maradon is great for getting repair money and the odd boots of avoidence.

Better solution is to use the classic rogue reset option.
1) Invite guild member to your group.
2) Promote them to leader
3) Leave group
4) Wait until 1 min to port count down starts.
5) Log out/Login

You should be back in a fresh instance, at the start of it. Saves a ton of time.

wasnt this what blizzard tried to stop with that STUPID change that now ports people when they are disconnected.

Maybe, I haven't tried the instance reset trick since 1.12.1, so it's possible it no longer works. Which would be a bit of a pain.

How much can one make solo clearing scholo? It would have to be a lot if I am forced to respec shadow every time.

I went to do a bit of soloing for fun a while ago. got to the last pull in BRS before the Emberseer door, and that seemed like a bit much, esp since abusing vanish was necessary for some of them to that point.

I did the Arc Reaper plans dude once in the "hard spot", died as he did, and had to run back. the body didn't despawn, so i was able to loot->vanish, but he dropped a crap blue instead of the plans. Not that the plans are needed anymore, but it would have been a nice momento after however many months of never even seeing him spawn.

I wish I had a non-usuable but infinite bank bag. Essentially - here are my trophies. I promise i wont use them anymore, but let me have them as keepsakes of my time in this game. Heads of quest mobs, recipe drops, marduk's sword, notes from friends via in-game mail. never retrievable, just destroyable or viewable.

How exactly do you sneak around there as a warrior?

Some people have mentioned the coffer in BRD; going back to the moneymaking side of this thread, you can make some good money as a Rogue completing and selling +20 FR librams (Resilience). I had a pretty easy time of it with my bluebie Rogue alt specced Adren Rush:
1. Sneak to the coffer anteroom.
2. Kill/imp sap the closest (nonelite) dwarf to the painting, open it, Vanish.
3. Go kill the Dark Keeper and loot the coffer key. Anywhere except the Bar his group is easy to get alone. I needed a Vanish after I burnt him down; with better gear you could probably kill both adds as well.
4. Return to coffer; you can opening it without aggroing the 3 Guards or Mage+Dog in front of it. Loot Burning Essence, return to Org/IF, profit!

I gave Zevrim a quick try last night, and either I was just too tired, but I wasn't seeing enough of a warning on his sacrifice cast, which prevented me from interrupting it. Might need to rollout some mind numbing poison, but it felt like an instant cast spell to me. That or SpellAlert wasn't picking it up and I need to be watching for some animiation.

This isnt in the boss category but I know a hunter and a shaman in my guild was soloing some naxxtrash over and over in hopes of getting themselfes a free harbringer of doom. I'm not entirely sure wich mobs they took but I suspect they pulled heigan trash into the squared room before Faerlina. Also if you get a raid to clear trash to Patchwerk it wouldnt suprise me the least if you could solo him as well, it would take hours, maybe a day but after the enrage he's very slow and the squared room before Faerlina is pretty much the ideal kiting room. Now, I dont know if they've added a leash to Patchwerk seeing as some chinese guild actually used a kiting strategy to kill him that way.

I'm fairly sure you can solo the smaller spider packs before Faerlina in that room as well, but thats just my assumptions based on my own paniced kiting in that room with em during raids.

Kiting patchwerk in that way is exploiting, and they've now fixed him to ensure that its not possible :)

Heigan trash doesn't drop loot, so that would make them quite silly :p

On the (off)topic of Naxx trash though, you can do the Ghoul/Slime pulls in the Plague wing really easily if you've got a couple ranged classes. One guy kites slimes, 3 other guys kill the ghouls in the square stair room, loot epics, jump in the slime to reset. Using locks to dot them up while kiting, they didn't really take that long to die. Adding a warrior for hamstring spam helps quite a bit also, since you can get some bolts in while they're snared.

I think he meant the early plague wing trash (Noth trash?) rather than the mass Heigan spawns.

Edit, If you get a few priests and a few ranged dps, you could pretty easily solo those packs as long as priests are on top of shackling. It'll take a longggg time though, probably not worth it.

After killing all the mobs before the slope down to where the guy with the dogs is, you can get up on the ledge of the left hand wall and walk round and they dont get pulled, then you jump off the right hand ledge and that brings you out above the invokers (about 3 groups) then reset.

When I was 14 into Enhancement, I could easily solo to Roccor and Incendius, with some skilled dodging and high FR gear. Since Incendius got changed to have a buff that stacks FR reduction, I'm not sure it's possible to solo him as a shaman. It took about 1 hour to do it all, and you have to port/die your way out from Incendius.

I'm now 46 into Resto, so no 2 hand WF against elementals, but I've since garnered around +400 dmg in gear, but I haven't attempted it at all.

A shaman with +6 yds to lightning spells can easily farm all the trees and shard elementals in DM west, and if you are quick, the lightning elementals. The melee ghosts are easy as pie. You *can* solo all that as a resto shaman in Elemental gear, but it's much harder.
