We went into this fight with Warchief's Blessing and Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer, but not Spirit of Zandalar. Also, we didn't have the group completely min/maxed for damage.

I hate this fight so much but getting the killing blow at the last second (me and Relwin died at exactly the same time about half a second later - this was after he'd reincarnated to get another hit in) was perfect catharisis.

I think most people are going to write about pop'n'shock Vaelastrasz encounters. I know I've experienced my fair share of those. Oh, what tumultuous times those were.

Tonight we somehow jacked up the Bug Trio while killing Kri last, 5 people left alive at 1% and 3 were healers. Fight ended with a shaman and a priest alive and the killing blow was from Smite spam.

I'd share my screenshot of 10-15 lines of "Patchwerk attacks. You dodge/parry."(also Patchwerk's Hateful Strike misses you) followed by "Your Argent Dawn reputation increases by 100," except that's on my old computer's hard drive and it's not in working condition anymore :/ Deterrence is awesome btw

I'll bite; our first patchwerk kill was a pretty slick little kite build with Lysander getting a combat rez, putting curse of doom on patchwerk and slaying him after kiting him around for the minute.

As the category of "Shaman popped and shocked it dead!" being perhaps a little overencompassing, "Rogue evaded and it died in ~15 seconds!"...

Twin Emps at 15:10. Along with loads of junk before that (complete 45 second transition on Vael being my favorite other).

Our first Ouro kill. Everyone down except one lone gnome mage. Frostbolt killed Ouro at the same time that ouro sent a boulder to his face.

Don't have a SS but our first Thaddius kill, several lds and i think maybe 1 person bombed us during the fight causing us to slightly be offpace for our kill, but nevertheless we try to do everything we can popping reck and everything.

We get to 9% when Thaddius enrages MT pops shieldwall/gem/standetc...
Thaddius casts Chain Lightning...
FULL RESIST on the intial target(if the intial gets a full resist it doesnt bounce)...
6% Chain again... Full Resist on the intial again!
3% Now... Chain lightning bye bye Group #1.
2% Chain lighting... Full Resist Group #2 Lives!
Group 2 Burns him to sub 1% and gets chained, after they die we have ~4 shaman ankh shock to no avail(3 dieing to CL). Thaddius then turns and looks at one of priests that had been having connection issues all night and hence decided to stand away from the group(he may have crashed and logged in and ran away between polarities not sure) the priest casts SHACKLE UNDEAD(he swapped his key when we were attempting gothik earlier that day while waiting for thad to unlag) and then one smite, while the shaman popped a mana pot and nsed a lb and a shock, down went thaddius. Vent went CRAZY =).

Twin emps, 14 minutes in, emps at 5%, we're cruising (leads to our first kill).

Then someone pulls aggro on the caster emp, pulls him up into the healers, then port happens, so Vek'nilash swats a couple healers, more importantly they heal from 3% to 5% before the tank pulls Vek'nilash away. One thing leads to another, they enrage, Vek'nilash nails his tank for 9k non-crit and sets off across the room ... just as they get in heal range they fall over.

edit: I should mention that we lock-tank the caster emp, but the lock on this side died about 10min into the fight with no rezzes up, hence how aggro got pulled.

I'd have to dig for the screenshot, but our first Huhuran kill had her and our last paladin standing exchange hits and kill each other. We called it a tie.

Our first Twin Emps kill sounds like it would qualify, but someone who was there should post the full story.

We had one today when Onyxia fell to a Curse of Doom proc with 3 people left standing, but that is more embarassing than heroic given how long we've been farming Onyxia.

We've had the Huhu dead, zero survivors kill.

But my personal favourite last second save story came from another guild on our server. It wasn't in the Temple of Ahn'Quiraj or Naxxramas. It was in Upper Blackrock Spire.

The fight against Drak is going badly and soon its just a couple of people left. One is a priest I think running around, out of mana, mashing buttons madly. And then the saviour emerges.

"Mechanical chicken hits General Drakkisath for 1 damage."
"Mechanical chicken hits General Drakkisath for 1 damage."
"Mechnanical chicken gains chicken fury."
"Mechanical chicken hits General Drakkistath for 61 damage."
"General Drakkisath dies."

I laughed.

On our second Twin Emps kill things were going very very well, about 13 mins or so with 6% left, when all of a sudden one of our tanks disconnects. Somehow we managed to burn down that last little bit with the emps going crazy killing everything in their path.

Ouro at 1%, Spirakherit (Shaman) and Bizarro (MT) are last ones standing.

Spirakherit dies.
Bizarro dies.
Spirakherit gains Reincarnation
Spirakherit's Frost Shock crits Ouro for xxx frost damage.
Ouro dies.

You forgot also our first or second Maex where the last one standing was a troll hunter >_> (lolhordeoverpoweredracials)

We are on Huhu and both her and us are dropping fast. Praying for DoT's the kill her she finally owns the last person in the raid and begins to reset..

Rogue pops using a SS, pops sprint and Sinister Strikes huhu once and kills her lol.

On our last loatheb, after the MT died at around 5:30 or whatever, our raid leader, Medalla, switched himself into the mage group, casts Prayer of healing, dies, casts two more prayer of healing in SoR form and the mages live through one more tick then die the next. Two people up when Loatheb died.

Got damn I hope today's loatheb goes better.

From memory. It might be a bit off.

A month or two back on C'thun. He's been on farm for a while, but for some reason things didn't go too well that night, so it's our nth attempt on him. We are wiping slowly (like 10 people dead. Not enough dps to kill all spawns) when we get our 2nd weaken. Mad dps ensues, but C'thun comes out of weaken and is at 1% and you can just feel people slump back in their chairs... And then he died to dots.
