With all the tips for SCT i feel that i must say, Get Scrolling Battle Text instead, it whips Scrolling Combat Texts a** =)

I definately recomend sctd, it allows you to position your dmg display in a fixed position and it also has the option of showing the skill name next to it.

So it will come up, Revenge (Parry) or Revenge (Miss) in nice big bold letters.

Downside to this is your screen gets really spammy -.-

While not directly related to the question at hand, I also recommend Improved Camera (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=3108 ) for zooming further out on some fights.

I dont get it. Why are you scared of using sunder armor?

It's not that folk are scared of sunder armor, it's simply that prot tanks seldom use it due to rage or global cooldown restrictions.

The priority of abilities is generally something like Revenge->Heroic Strike->Shield Slam->Sunder Armor, with stuff like sunder dropping off if you don't have enough rage. Tanks tend to mix it up a little because sunder armor has DPS value, so the optimal approach is often to sunder just enough to keep the stack refreshed, and use rage on the other hate moves.

Still, throw in a sunder every few cycles; game isnt all about numbers. In a micro scale, losing sunder stacks leading to 10 secs longer combat isnt really a better scenario than tank having 50% or 49% more aggro than the next.

Pretty much offtopic tho :)
