My guild is deciding whether to go into aq40 or Naxx and not both. We have been clearing BWL for a few months now.

We recently attempted (exploring) Naxx - Instructor Razuvious and got him to 82% after 2-3 tries.

We have only killed skeram.

I would just like to here the opinions on where you think we should go as a last guild progression push before the expansion and why.

Some arguments for Naxx: Better gear than aq40; claims that the first few bosses in naxx are possibly equivalent in difficulty to aq40 bosses; gear for the raid not just dpsers

Some arguments for AQ40: Gear for dpsers and increasing raid dps to make encounters in naxx easier; learning encounters in aq40 will help encounters for Naxx.

Right now? If people were up for it, I'd do AQ40, at your stage.

You aren't going to make huge headway into either dungeon, but AQ40 offers off-set gear that will give your healers and support classes more options for levelling up in TBC other than instancing every inch of the way.
