So, being overly excited about the new hunter talents and the discussion in the other thread about possible new shot rotations got me thinking:
What do you use as a current shot rotation?
My ct profile is now in my sig (hurray!) and as you can see.. I stack AP and my crit rate sucks. Bad bad left overs from when I was LR.
I use a mindtap for regen and I tend to use a lazy cycle.
Aimed->auto->multi and then aimed whenever I can catch it after a new shot (no more then 0.2 into my current shot). And I fire multi whenever its up. If I miss a shot (it happens with my latency) I let it go on through till the next.
I do fairly well on mana, but my standing against other hunters is not so great. I get beat by our LR hunter (but he's always been our best dmg wise) and I go neck and neck with our toxic injector hunter. The rest usually hold the higher teens (16-20) while we fight with rogues and mages for top 10. (varies from fight to fight)
The only fight I consistantly rock every other hunter is Loatheb, even when I'm at the 'back' so to speak for spores.
What I'm wondering is if my abysmal crit rate is responsible for my (what I feel to be) lower then possible DPS.
So I figure I'll take a look at my shot rotation and compare it to others.
This could be embarrassing... be gentle.
