PvP Weapons:
2-handers, 30000 Honor 40 AV
1-handers, 15000 Honor 20 AB
Off-hands, 15000 Honor 40 AV (Would imagine the token cost to be halved at some point)
Alterac Valley Gear:
Frostbite, Glacial Blade, 5000 Honor 40 AV
Whiteout Staff, 10000 Honor 40 AV
Horn of the Frostwolf Howler, 90 AV (Requires 150 Riding)
Off-hands, 15000 Honor 60 AV
The Immovable Object, 15000 Honor 60 AV
The Lobotomizer, 15000 Honor 60 AV
The Unstoppable Force, 15000 Honor 80 AV
Don Julio's Band, Don Rodrigo's Band, 4500 Honor 40 AV
The Alterac Valley stuff seems way overpriced as it stands right now.
(Corrected the 1-handers to AB tokens. Typing too fast is going to kill me.)

Especially given that you can't go into AV 61+. At least that's what it's telling me. Why the Hell would you run that many AVs pre-70?
|
Mages have a set time that they want you to ask for food, and that time is pull #4 of the night. You may notice them putting a little snack table down before the raid, that's them cooking the food for you to demand on pull 4. --Nork

How have you managed to alter that quote?
1h weapons are 20 AB tokens.
EDIT - Oh, because they edited theirs afterwards.
The AV stuff does seem very expensive compared to the HWL stuff.

AV will be available since there is a 61-70 bracket. I aggre that few would want to run 80 AV to get TUF, when the PvP 2h is only 40 AV (but double the honor). Also it is sad that the AV rewards cost so much, few will ever get them (that already don't have them).

Millions of words are written annually purporting to tell how to beat the races, whereas the best possible advice on the subject is found in the three monosyllables: 'Do not try.'

The HWL weapons seem a bargain compared to the AV prices, that seems off. And while cross server bg's have helped queue times, the last AV weekend still had a good 20-30min wait for my alliance character (horde still had instant queues, but alliance tends to win most AV's in our battlegroup these days).

Can somebody confirm or deny if the reputation jewelry are no longer Unique? I'm referring to stuff like Don Julio/Rodrigo, Advisor's Ring, Legionnaire's Ring, Scout's Medallion, etc.
The reason I ask is because one of my friends mentioned it and that seems very unlikely to me.

Yeah, the 30 faster for netherdrake and Peep definitely makes them desireable. No telling what Peep might be. Possibly a ZG/Strat type rare mount or event type unique.
But where do netherdrakes come from? I'm assuming someone knows since there has already been a recent beta video featuring one.

You get 2 quests while leveling (one nagrand, one netherstorm) to ride a netherdrake on a scripted taxi run.
I am pretty sure that no more information than that is available on these mounts at this time.

Those of you who volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA, I've got some good news and some bad news.
Bad news is we're postponing those tests indefinitely. Good news is we've got a much better test for you: fighting an army of mantis men.
Pick up a rifle and follow the yellow line. You'll know when the test starts.

I would have imagined AV token requirements to be half those of any other BG tokens. They are so much more of a pain to acquire.
Although most games degrade into the 'who can kill NPCs faster' routine, there are still those games that last many, many hours. Compared to AB and most WSG games that average 30 minutes it just seems odd to me.
Also, are they removing the ability to turn in tokens for honor? It would seem like a great part of the system to work around, instead of having tons of rotting tokens you wont use for months on end.

Don't recall seeing this stated specifically, but do all disenchanted items from Outlands give only the new enchanting mats? (i.e., no Large Brilliant Shards, Greater Eternal Essence, Illusion Dust, etc.)

Not sure whether I read it here or on the beta forums, but I recall someone saying that they got Nexus Crystals from a couple of blue drops in the new 5 mans.

Based on item level, yes.
You'll end up looting old style greens with low ilvl that will give you old mats.
But all of the new flavor greens with 90+ ilvl will give you the new mats, at least that's what I've seen blowing up the 40+ greens I got from 60-70.

No. Some of them give Azerothian mats, but that is a rare occurance. As people have said, it's probably based on the iLvl of the item.

Do new Outland tradeskill recipes start at lvl 300, or higher? What Azerothian trade goods should we be stockpiling now in order to pump out as many skill levels as possible when the 375 cap is introduced?

300, for most of them. FA only starts at 330, so it's a good ideea to have at least 5-6 of Runecloth in your bank. JC and Enchanting have direct skillups after 300, but it might be wise to save some mats for cheap skillups now, just to get a head start.

I mistakingly posted this in the PTR thread also, but since you're talking about the nether drakes here...
Blue post indicates that the NetherDrake will indeed be available to people who focus on PvE content, hinting that it will be from an instance in the netherstorm.

While we're on the subject of the flying mounts, any1 else dissapointed by the selection? First only Gryphons/batriders if u don't count the special hard to get mounts, and secondly the colors... the non-epic versions atleast have differant colors for the mounts the epic versions only change armor color. Why not add in hippogryphs, batriders, and dragonhawks? You could even add some gnome contrapsion in there. Add hippos and batriders as faction mounts in 2 horde/alliance cities in Outlands, then possibly add Dragonhawks and w/e the hell a flying Dranei mount would be to the Shattrah reps for aldor/scryer (flying elephants? :P)

A lot of people posting on the Blizzard forumsare jumping the gun and taking what Chilton said as meaning the only way to get a netherdrake is via Arena ranking. It's simply one way of getting an armour Netherdrake. However, we've seen datamined skins suggesting that there are multiple armoured/regular netherdrake mounts. It's just a very nice touch that between 40 and 80 people a year will have a uiquely coloured netherdrake to suggest their PvP abilities.

It's pretty obvious that they have a % drop rate off a 25 man raid. It also goes hand in hand what Drysc said about them keeping PVE and PVP rewards similar at the top end.
