People who see each other constantly for a long time can sometimes get sick of each other. The person has little personality quirks or jokingly harrasses you for a long time eventually it can turn from a joke to a problem. You are tired of it.

So how do you deal with this sort of thing in a guild?

A group of people who have been together for a long time and the little things they do just make each other sick. Does a guild just break up or can something be done?

I've always heard of a group of people leaving a guild cause the guild went in a different direction. Maybe because someone was sick of the leadership or wanted to do something different. I never heard anyone say "The whole bunch of them just disgusted me and they always did (something)"

Similar to the age old tradition of marriage?

Son, there are some questions in life that an army of e-nerds cannot solve. You need to ask your dad.
