The Hallow's End game event starts tomrorow. Assuming they don't put souldbound or time limits on things like the valentines day stuff, be sure to collect up as many Hallowed Wands as you can!

My favorite trick was zapping someone who's an alchemist into a night self wisp head and watching them mix potions. It's like a bizarre head juggling bottles.

keep in mind that the 'recently trick or treated' debuff can be removed by 14 mind visions, a weakened soul, and a recently bandaged ;)

Actually isn't that fixed now? 1.12 introduced a new debuff priority system.

it might be fixed. i dunno. i did it last year just to see if it could be done. it probably took longer to find 14 priests than it would've taken to just wait for the debuff to go away.

You were the kid that came back to the same house, first with the mask and then without, to try to get candy twice weren't you?

Man I still have Hallowed Wands from last year... and I just remembered that my guild's first Nef kill was with a bunch of bats flying around. Soooo long ago. :<

I hope they've fixed the mask graphic on male trolls. Otherwise it's just another case of "It's halloween and Blizzard hates trolls, Charlie Brown!".

we used to use halloween wands on our dwarf tank on firemaw so our healers could actually get LOS on him around the corner.

im gonna be farming these on each of my alts, im gonna run a timer. God they are awesome. Whats really funny is batting the mages mid pull - they're immediately silenced and have to click off the costume. Theres so many ways to ruin raids with these ^_^

I keep a few wands of Leper Gnomes in my bank for those "guild first" moments. Time to collect some Night Elf Masks to cover my pretty Night Elf face.

Our OT refused to click off bat last night in BWL from Razor til it wore off some time around Firemaw. Interesting fact: can't Taunt while batted, but you *can* Mocking Blow.

I notice the debuff doesn't wear off when you logout. You actually have to be in the game for 60 minutes in order to trick or treat again. Now there's some BS.

The timer for the trick or treat debuff only counts down when you are logged in. =(

My MT was way, WAY more interested in the Wickerman Ash buff, which I think they actually buffed this year from last year: 25% increased health and mana regen, and 25% more stamina for 2 hours.
O.o

Plus, I want teh candys! GIVE MEH TEH CANDYS!

Also, since I was never in a position to know or have the opprotunity last year to find out, but do the wands work cross-faction? Cuz that is gonna make BGs really, REALLY fun...

I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should chellenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him.--Mark Twain

That's odd, I could immediately go to an innkeeper to trick or treat again on log in today, despite the fact that the last thing I did before I logged out was trick or treating.
You probably need to stay logged off for a certain amount of time before the debuff wears off, or perhaps in an inn or city.

The wand says its used on a targeted party member. So I'd guess no.

Althought if you group with a priest, get the priest to MC someone of the opposite faction, then you should be able to wand them. Works for DI which is a targeted party member.

I will check when I get home tonight, but I was in Ironforge last night, did the trick or treat, came back 3 hours later and it was still at 59 minutes.

Oh I can verify that for you right now, I logged out in Undercity last night. This morning I still had 59min on my debuff, 6 hours later.
