Hey all,

I've read some of the pages in the "dps warrior spreadsheet" thread. And someone wrote about how good paired weapon speed is. Something like if you have 2x 2.60 speed weapons you would get a "free" flurry charge 50% of the time you're flurried. Is this correct or have I got it all wrong?

Anyway, my problem is that I can't make up my mind of what my second weapon should be. I recently got CTS and atm I'm using Doom's edge in OH. My current gear can be found here: http://ctprofiles.net/3018533
The weapons I'm considering is, sand polished hammer from Ossirian, Maladath from broodlord because of the +4 sword skill or Claw of the black drake in MH and put my CTS in OH. What would you choose if you had my gear setup?

Maladath, Crul or Claw, WDF.

Don't bother with the paired weapon speed thing, it's negligable with your critrate raidbuffed.

Based on the weapons it sounds like you have access to, I'd recommend a CTS mainhand with a Maladath or Edge of Chaos offhand. The EoC might be better for trash, while the +4 swords will help keep your DPS up on boss fights.

If you were reading the DPS warrior thread, you'd also see the 2 times I've answered this question. Paired weapon speeds 1 advantage, 4 swings in a flurry cycle, and 1 disadvantage, a smaller cycle time.

How about pairing weapons so your offhand is exactly 1/2 of your mainhand speed, for example 2.8 and 1.4 speed?

Theoretical implications aside, this isn't really viable because most weapons are between 1.6 and 2.7 speed, with a few outliers at 1.5 and 2.8, anything faster than 1.5 doesn't really exist as far as raid itemization goes.

Okey, thank you for telling me, I think I've missed where you answered this statement.

On to something else, what do you think about enchanting +8 agililty instead of strength on head and leg? As far as I've understood how agility effects dps, it's a % increase, depending on how much AP you have. So wouldn't that mean that when I hit a certain amount of unbuffed AP, I'd gain more dps from agility than from strength?

Please move these questions to the DPS warrior spreadsheet, that's what the thread is for. Please use the spreadsheet too, it would answer these questions. For higher gear levels, 1% speed > 8 str > 8 agi
