Well here's a preview of the new Eye of Storm battleground that just opened today. It's sort of a cross between AB, WSG and EPL. The map is this:



When you start, you're in some type of bubble on a small island waiting for the battleground to begin. It's a 15 people BG and there is an option to join as a group:



The map has 4 towers, and a flag in the middle. The first team to get 2000 points wins. The towers have unique looks for the horde and alliance but they can be captured by either side. There's also cracks where you don't want to fall into:



The goal is to captures towers, which give you points, and capture the flag and bring it to one of your towers, which gives you an additional 100 points or so for each capture:



The 4 towers can be captured in the same way as EPL towers can, by standing next to them and watching the little bar move:



Overall, this BG is very very fast action. You have nonstop fighting, and you really can't stand idle like in WSG or AB. The objectives are near each others, the flag respawns as soon as it's capped, and the run with the flag takes 30secs at most, so people will always be taking towers and capping flags. I assume with flying mounts it's going to go even faster. A typical game can last around 15mins. The winning screen gives more information too:



I think it's going to be a hit, and will bring most PvPers who want to still do BGs here when the expansion hits.
