My main is a rogue, although unfortunately not a human. So for the last few months I was leisurely levelling up a second, human rogue to switch to once the expansion is there (yes, i know, might not be really worth it any more). Now that I am almost 60 I had the thought that I might as well stay at lvl 59 and do PvP exclusively until BC, since most of the equipment I might be able to pick up at 60 would be replaced son in BC anyways. I am playing alliance on a PvE server, and the Arathi-queues are ~1 hr on lvl 60 and at most 10 Minutes on lvl 59, so this is a rather big incentive.

However I have been almost exclusively a PvEer until now, so my PvP knowledge is limited. While I am aware that nothing can replace firsthand experience, I would still be open for advice on the talent distribution and equipment the more experienced PvPers on these boards would recommend. This way I can at least start out in the right direction.

Please bear in mind that the talent distribution should be focussed on Battleground-PvP, not duels, and that I am restricted to equipment that is obtainable and useable at level 59.

My current profile (including a "dream" setup of the gear I am aiming for) can be found here. I had chosen the 16/3/31 Premediation/Hemo build, as it is supposed to be easy to play. While indeed it can easly produce good stunlocks, I am often facing the problem that my damage seems insufficient. Even after the stunlock runs out my opponents seem to be at 50% hp or more, even opponents of level 57 or below...
