Naxxramas shortcuts?

When you clear a wing in Naxx, this rune (at the entrance) lights up, and you need all 4 runes to light up in order to fight Sapphiron.

My question is: do you only need to kill the end boss of each wing, or clear it completely? For example, is it possible to clear and kill Thaddius, then move through the tunnel straight to Maexxna (avoiding Anub'rekhan and Faerlina)? And will this light the rune?

I doubt it, Blizz will probably have designed it so you have to kill the entire wing for the rune to light.

No on Loatheb (bridge), Thaddius (locked door), and Four Horsemen (locked door). I don't know about Maexxna. Those two locked doors do not unlock until you kill the boss in front of them.

Quite frankly, if your guild is capable of killing Thaddius and Loatheb, Anubrehkan and Grand Widow should be relatively simple.

Should being the key word, remarkably my guild finds ways to down Loatheb and still wipe to the stupidest stuff imaginable.

Maexxna's Room is locked by the same web that closes when you engage her preventing you from entering if grand widow isn't killed and there is also a web and doors preventing you from getting to Faerlina if Anub'Rekhan is not dead.

off topic, but welcome to my world.
last week we got our 2nd KT kill and we used a total of 7 flasks on warriors, no world buffs or anything. today i have a fucking headache from the 3h of gothik wiping. sometimes i just feel like deleting wow on the spot or alternatively bang my head against a wall so at least i get this oh so pleasant numb feeling. :(

and to actually write something on topic:
i don't know exactly what triggers it, but if you clear abo wing, do razu and reset the instance (we did abo + plague + razu on day1 a lot), the trash behind razu/before gothik despawns. might be enough to kill razu and reset the instance, but dunno. anyway, saves you 15 minutes or something, otherwise i don't think anything is really possible.

That trash is just linked with Raz at the moment, any reset after he is dead clears it.

For the topic, yeah you need to do bosses in order.

I would say considering the topic is labelled "shortcuts" that this is about saving time, not avoiding fights they aren't capable of.
