Technically you'll grind them over and over for the rep that comes out of them. The shards will also be a nice side benefit.

There's also skillups to disenchant since every crafting profession basically has to make blue items from 360 to 375.

Yep, I've used this on all my boots since I got 'out of range' when on top of someone in PvP. Knowing you're slightly catching up with someone and can backstab next tick is priceless. However, more and more clothies are getting speed on boots, thus nullifying the advantage :(

Agree re: farming and going around town too. It's 8% less unmounted time wasted. Period. This is also why I have a full riding set too.

I use a full traveling set with the Arathi boots speed enchanted, Nifty Stopwatch and the Skull of Impending Doom (I still need the angler trinket from the fishing event to make it a complete one).

The AB boots and the speed enchant don't stack unfortunately

I can do both of these on Blade's Edge, but nobody has asked me to do the enchant yet :(

the mats are pretty significant. Large Prismatics go for 30-100g beta gold and Primal Air go for 200-400 beta gold each. Beta gold != real gold but that's the only real data I have.

Enchantwise no, but you can get meta gems that serve a similar purpose.

I was under the impression that Run Speed + Stamina would be it. :P

I'd say the Stamina and run speed would count as the Caster version.

Really a HUGE change in mount speed.
i hate leatherworkers for the trincket they will have in TBC, as paladins.

None of the run speeds stack, afaik. You would only get a 30% speed bump with a boot enchant and cheetah on.
