Has anyone noticed a problem with the raid frames where they click one person and get another targetted while in combat? Our healers were having massive problems with that earlier tonight, so much so that we ended up wiping on Broodlord and called it. They tried using the default Blizzard raid frames and Grid and both times when they would click our MT, it would target one of our paladins instead.

A few other guilds on the server had noted similar things, but nobody seems to know why.

There are additional changes to the Rend event besides the one documented change.

First, the gate will open to spawn the next wave immediately upon the death of the last mob in the previous wave. Previously, there was a set timer for the waves. This is actually a nerf to the event for groups with sufficiently low dps, since it guarantees you don't get two waves at once.

Second, a final wave now spawns at the same time as Gyth, so you have to offtank Gyth while clearing the final wave (or some other combination). If you leave some fraction of the final wave CC'd when Vael is summoned, he will do the heal and then wander around breaking sheep or whatever for a few seconds. Very strange.

We did UBRS twice this evening and saw both of these changes both times.

I've been having lockups on group changes/LD/joins/parts for a few months now... same with a hunter. Disabling CTRA didn't fix it at the time... I tried every mod I could that I knew used raid user events... couldn't get it fixed.

My raid leader was on his priest tonight and literally stopped the raid for almost half an hour to make sure everyone got that "update 3" to CTRA. The only difference reported by our healers was that the raid bars actually updated the status of the players rather than not updating for up to 10 seconds (although I'm still not convinced it was completely fixed seeing how poor our cross healing was). The majority of them fell back on the Blizzard raid UI.

As for me, the most frustrating thing was that Blizzard's target of target seemed to simply not work at all on some mobs (it would randomly work on some trash, not work on some trash, and almost never work on bosses). This is honestly something I have come to rely on a LOT in the past year. Thankfully the (although hideously space consuming) CT mod unit frames target's target seemed to work rather well. Another warrior I spoke with, who had only installed CTRA and possibly itemrack at that point, reported the same behavior of Blizzard's target's target not working. We also both noticed that as soon as you died on a boss that it had not been working at all for, it would work flawlessly while you were a corpse. This leads me to believe that possibly it's being blocked by the secure frames stuff (I don't know all that much about UI scripting, so I'm probably wrong).

Finally, if that clicking every time the raid changes doesn't stop, I'm going to kill someone.

Because clearly a 20% mana reduction on Cleanse is worthless? It's certainly not the libram of choice for every encounter, but it shines on any encounter with debuffs to remove, and is worth a TON on fights like Chromaggus, Faerlina, etc.

Some folks have reported a second crit before the first ignite tick will result in overwriting the original ignite. Others have reported contrary information.

There is a delay between when you crit and when the ignite debuff is applied.

I suspect the problem with losing ingite damage happens if you crit within the small window of time between your first crit and when the ingite debuff is applied. This is in my experience about a half second window.

It's pretty easy to do by using an instant cast fire spell after a crit or switching to scorch after a fireball if your target is the right distance away.

I won't be able to test this for quite a while, hopefully someone can post results.

It seems that whenever ctrl, alt, or shift are pressed, you can't click on a new target, and that it is completely intentional.

Also, we went into naxx tonight, and the priests were having pet bar issues on fearlina too. One of them was getting "tainted" something or other error and the other one never said. Both priests had disabled all of their mods before starting the fight, but left them in their interface folder.

It seems that the pet bar can only update out of combat, and since mind control is used in combat, the pet bar issues can become pretty major. I've been looking around for things, made a post on the UI forums giving them some things to try, but I haven't heard anything back on whether or not its working.

Not sure if this is expected, but occasionally in WSG both flags are visible on the main map ("M" - key)
The opposing flag will occasionally change from the horde flag to the alliance flag and back again.

Dunno if it has been mentioned already but the Black Qiraji Battle Tank mount is now fixed.

You can unmount again while moving, it was bugged (no pun intended) since 1.10.

I often have CTRL pressed when clicking on a new target, since CTRL is my vent button and being the raidleader I talk rather often. This probably means I have to move my vent key. Gonna be fun when I start talking pressing CTRL and then finding out I set it to a different key.

Thanks for the tips about updating CTRA to update 3, we will have our first raid tonight since the patch and now I have some time to inform people.

I only have been able to play for a short time this morning and haven't found anything yet myself exept one small item change on Benediction, no idea if it's only a display problem but it used to be 2% holy spell crit and it has now been changed to a spell crit rating. Without specificly stating holy spells only.

They probably just didn't bother making a separate crit rating class for holy spells when they did the conversion. Is there any other items that only give crit to a specific school of damage?

None that I can think of - I think Benediction was fairly unique in that respect. From memory, the only things I can think of which act in the same way are talents.

I am not sure about that one, but the transmute timer on Arcanite seems to be 24h now. Wasnt it 48h before patch? I learnt alchemy only recently so I am not so sure about it.

But yeah, they most likely just didn't bother with another rating, and honestly, why should they? The crit rating benefits your healing equally whether it's holy or all schools, and for dps you'd either use Anathema or something else completely. Just count it as a bonus the few times you throw in a Smite while in healing-gear cause you're bored ;-)

EDIT: And yeah, Arcanite Transmute used to be 48h.

Earth Shield has an interesting bug whereby you can have one shaman earth shield multiple people. If the person with a shaman's earth shield is in a different zone, it won't go away when they buff someone else. Those people can then zone and mix freely and keep the shield.

I didn't test it to the max extent for time and logistic reasons. However, it might be a wee bit dangerous to keep around... not so much for pve (even for zerg fights, just one earth shield on everyone isn't a gamebreaker) as for pvp (where a pro WSG team could easily have the shaman shield each person in turn before they click accept and thus have a very nice little advantage for the first flag).

It says: "Taunt the target, increasing the likelihood the creature will focus attacks on you."

Compare it to the Druid Growl which is a real Taunt:

(It also shares the "Attack Me" mod with "real" Taunts such as "Taunt" and "Righteous Defense" (http://thottbot.com/beta?e=Attack%20Me). I don't know why Angered Earth is listed there; it sounds like a skill of the Shaman Earth Elemental but I assume it should work like a pet growl.)

There is not such a thing as "increasing the likelihood" of being attacked on a real Taunt/Bear Growl. If the Taunt/Bear Growl goes through, the mob will attack you.

Pets' Growl is just an aggro move such as Sunder Armor (not the threat values, but the type).

The New version of CTRA (1.6) seems to be causing extreme lag spikes that made raiding almost impossible last night, after 5 min I turned it off. There also seems to be an issue with CTRA and pet bars, if you have it installed your pet bar will randomly be there when you summon it, more often then not it isnt there at all.

Also I did not see this mentioned but the Raz encounter seems to have the taunt cooldown on the priest and not on the MCed Mob.
