ey.

iam from an eu realm and our guild is going to have serious attempts on patchwerk next week since we cleared spider wing, noth and instructor razuvious.
my question is: what kind of talent spec should i take to be as afficent as possible at healing on patchwerk as a priest?
iam wearing 5/8 trans, faith bracer and proper non-set items, wielding benediction.

thanks for any answers in advance and let me apologise for my bad english ;>

Search --> Patchwerk + healing

Edit: and as for the new talents, it's too early to say, i bet only a handful of guilds have tried him post-patch.

Being able to spell "wielding" but not "I am" is probably more lazy than bad english. It is difficult to even read what you wrote. Also filling out your profile might be a good start; I'm sure that works in any language.
I would wait a day for the answer to this, as not many have done patchwerk, and frankly - we need like 2 active patchwerk threads or we die or something of that sort.

Please fill out a profile, please capitalize and such -- spelling and grammar errors are no problem, but a lack of capitalization and formatting makes things hard to read. Also please try to work your questions into existing threads on the topic (we have no lack of Patchwerk healing threads, and no lack of threads about 2.0 talents).

I will close this thread shortly.

Before I do, though, I just want to note that unless Blizzard changes their current armor formula, don't even think about trying to learn Patchwerk. Go to Heigan and Gothik instead.

Based on what I've heard/read from multiple sources, Patchwerk is probably doable by Alliance with multiple tanks in mostly Dreadnaught, and not by anyone else without a lot of luck.

Actually still off-topic but going from one language to another it's probably easier to screw up "I am" than wielding. Considering a good deal of the time it's I'm, it probably has more to do with him not making the contraction properly.

I could be wrong, but poor guy. =(

Also the search function on most sites (including this one) are horrible. I usually manually run through the lists because I don't think I've ever had a search function correctly. If I did a search for patchwerk now I'd probably end up with threads on the 2.0.1 patch, heh.

And geez is PW really that bad? =(

Cute, but no, you wouldn't. Try it. Click Search. Keyword "Patchwerk." Search in "Public Discussion" and search "Topic subject only." You will get a list of about 12 threads specifically about Patchwerk and nothing else.

All bosses are. The armor formula changes for level 61+ mobs. Your char sheet value will still remain the same for now since you're level 60 and it's showing mitigation vs. level 60 mobs. But as soon as you cross that line, you're losing multiple % mitigation immediately. This means every level 61-63 mob in the game will hit harder than it did before the patch. In many cases this isn't a huge deal, and changes like stacking HoTs and new talents make up for it.

On Patchwerk, however, it means that if he decides to do an HS at the top end of the damage range, it will hit a Stoneshielded Dreadnaught-geared tank for 9k+. Draw your own conclusions.

What about Maexxna? He = teh suq now? It was always a matter of hundreds of HP following the stun when I did him.

They're not gonna change it. They upped armor values already to compensate, and generally, yanking out a major game system and replacing it with an old one will break untold numbers of other things.

I think my guild is about to find out tonight just how hard he is. It will be interesting. I dont see blizzard changing the formulas anytime soon to allow guilds another 5-6 weeks of steady raiding.
