Speed Buff Inconsistencies?

So, I was on my way to figuring out if there were any changes made to Troll Berserking when I noticed some inconsistencies, perhaps with Blizzard's system or perhaps with my math because I'm having a brainfart from all the studying I've been doing. Here are some numbers, with a 3.4 speed bow already dropped down to a 2.96 speed from the 15% haste quiver:

Base                   00%     2.96
Berserking             10%     2.66
Kiss of the Spider     20%     2.46
Berserking             30%     2.07
Rapid Fire             40%     2.11

Already, you can notice the glaring irregularities with the last two lines. Anyway, onto the math. I did it two ways because I wasn't sure which way was right. Lo and behold, I'm still not sure:

        Method 1               Method 2
10%     2.96 / 2.66 = 1.11  [#]2.96 * 0.90 = 2.66
20%  [#]2.96 / 2.46 = 1.20     2.96 * 0.80 = 2.36
30%     2.96 / 2.07 = 1.42  [#]2.96 * 0.70 = 2.07
40%  [#]2.96 / 2.11 = 1.40     2.96 * 0.60 = 1.78

For the hell of it, 15% on 3.4 bow:

15%  [#]3.40 / 2.96 = 1.15     3.40 * 0.85 = 2.89

As you can see, in some cases, Method 1 is correct. In some cases, Method 2 is correct. Anyway, I'm posting this to see what you guys make of it. If you guys want to make a bug report about it, feel free. I don't have access to the WoW Forums anymore.

Hmm, I never thought about doing calculations in the code boxes, let's try that out!

Base                   15%     3.40/1.15        = 2.96
Berserking             11%     3.40/(1.15*1.11) = 2.66
Kiss of the Spider     20%     3.40/(1.15*1.20) = 2.46
Berserking             30%     3.40/(1.15*1.30) = 2.27
Rapid Fire             40%     3.40/(1.15*1.40) = 2.11

Berserking on Live     43%     3.40/(1.15*1.43) = 2.07

Berserking has been empirically shown to be 11% haste at 100% hp. However, at low hp, it does appear that Berserking is offering 43% haste increase (just checked in-game), which is odd. Everything else checks out.

It looks like Berserking isn't following the same haste model as everything else in the game. Most hastes mean "increase the number of attacks in a given amount of time by X%," while it appears that the Berserking haste is "decreases the time between attacks by X%."

Berserking 10%: 3.40/1.15 * (1.00 - 0.10) = 2.66
Berserking 30%: 3.40/1.15 * (1.00 - 0.30) = 2.07

Well I just tested this with a couple different buffs. Seems to me that this might only be on the Hunter version of berserking (the mana-using one, really). Weapon speeds listed are for main hand / off hand.

Base                 00%     1.80 / 1.60
Blade Flurry         20%     1.50 / 1.33
SnD                  30%     1.39 / 1.29
Low-HP Zerking       30%?    1.39 / 1.29
Snd+BF+full hp Zerk  71.6%   1.05 / 0.93

Slice and Dice gave me the same numbers as Berserking at low health (read: 10%), so at least for rogues it has to be 30%.

Interesting. And Berserking maxes out at 40% health. I made an addon for it way back when Berserking got changed to its current incarnation and it still seems to hold true today. Aside from this bugged mana-version of Berserking, the addon is pretty accurate in calculating the speed you'd get by using inverse proportional mathematics.
