The 2.0.3 PTR is up: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...geNo=1&sid=1#0
http://worldofwarcraft.com/ptr/
It looks like they are going to get things all matched with the talent trees and skills currently in the beta.
There was another blue post today stating that there would be no realm maintenance on 12/26, so that narrows down the possible patch days to the 2nd, or the 9th.
Druids do get their buff, and rogues do get Shadowstep. Other then that, changes that I have noticed include the level 70 PVP weapons quartermaster in the Hall of Legends. Currently the weapon prices are the same as the level 60 weapons.
My characters from the 2.0.1 PTR are still up, so there is hope if the character copy gets bogged down.
Edit: Rogues who have grown accustomed to Cloak of Shadows, fret not, it is listed as trainable at level 66.

Dast it, I don't want shadowstep. I'm swords and couldn't care bobbins about ambushing from behind. I want cloak of shadows - it's like Ice Block on a 2 minute cooldown. Now I'll have to wait until TBC comes out to get it back.
Rotten swines. Still, I should get a free respec, which is always nice.

there any patch notes up? if so could someone PM me then to spare me having to wait until I get home? =)
And I am tempted to spec shadowstep purely as its something new =). I resisted speccing CoS as I knew I would miss it FAR too much =/. And mutilate has been a lotof fun recently. Oh well, go go level 67!

Interesting note, I logged my druid who had specced in Primal fury to give rage on crits, and I only received those 2 talent points back, rather than a full respec, I can see this being exploited to give 41 point talents without having enough points in the tree.
Edit: Patch notes just direct you to the beta patch page, so no full patch notes.

The list is still too erronous to copy and paste here (Bear HP mod is listed as 30% when it is 25% really).
Here is something I read about Rogues (not sure if they are accurate though).
1) Shadowstep as 41 point talent.
2) Imp backstab and imp SnD have switched places.

I kinda like the imp SnD/BS switcg personally. Gives mutilate rogues a viable alternative when killing elementals. Plus now we can backstab with find weakness up, maybe it will make backstab much more appealing. oh well, ill mess about with it, ta.

I'm pretty sure this patch will be released the same day as the actual expansion, which means the 16th.

There are at least 1-2 more builds for the beta (still many, many bugs), so that wouldn't make sense... 2nd is pretty likely imo. I wonder is if blizzard is going to start pre-downloading TBC data files to people or expect everyone to install from CD and then a smaller update patch on the 17th.

Not to mention there was a CM post flat out saying no more live realm patches until TBC.

Any word on if we need the PTR client? I was able to play it with my beta client, but I didn't actually try to do anything.

Players not currently in the Closed Beta will be present and testing as “non-expansion players”, and will only be allowed access to non-expansion content. So it seems they want people in the beta to use their beta clients and try things out on the PTR.

For what its worth I just ran launcher and it started downloading a 144 meg "Patches" patch, which contains 2.0.0 to 2.0.3 patch. This is for release WoW, not beta or PTR.

Apparently if your account is keyed for beta, you must use the beta client. The PTR client will give you this error: "This account is authorized for a newer version of WoW than is installed. Please go to www.worldofwarcraft.com to obtain the correct data."
Edit: And why does this matter, you say? Because I got a beta key in the mail a week ago and the beta-client download torrent is pretty much not possible at the moment. I pulled down the 144MB PTR patch in 10 minutes this morning, but made 0% progress in 20 minutes on the beta client installer.

It nerfs the mutilate spec at 60 though. Mutilate rogues now have a viable option versus elementals, but at the cost of a decent chunk of dps from going without imp snd.

Not technically true. When asked about UI code, Slouken - a UI developer - responded that the code would be newer than beta and PTR (at the time). 2.0.1 was cherry picking from the most stable/tested of each part of the code, it seems, and the UI division was ahead of everyone else seems.
Note this brought its own issues, where many addons that worked on both beta and PTR didn't work on the live patch.
