That's good to hear, but I'm still a bit miffed about my Best Buy fiasco. No option for the CE, only basic versions available. We'll see how it plays out when I pick up my pre-order copy after work today, but so far the customer service has been subpar.

I woke up at noon on MLK day with a surprise in my email inbox. My expansion is ready for pick-up - TODAY. What the - that's a whole day early! That can't be right can it? I call up customer service, "Yes sir, if you got that email from the store at North Avenue, you can pick up your copy right now."

Are you totally certain? That doesn't sound right at all. The street date is 1/16 and I'm pretty sure Blizzard might not like it very much. "Yes sir, if you got the email, it's ready. That's how this works." Excellent, just gonna finish my coffee, take a shower, and we're in business. Cackles of glee ensue.

30 minutes later, as I'm preparing to print my email, I get a new email: "We erroneously told everyone who pre-ordered the game to come in here early. Disregard that tripe. You're getting Jack and squat before Tuesday, and Jack just left town." (or something to that effect). At least I didn't give up my parking spot to get disappointed.

On the bright side, I get my incentive comp, raise, and wow expansion all on the same day. The only thing that would make today better would be a drink with an umbrella in it. :D

For any Aussies in Sydney I managed to get a CE from Myer in the CBD this morning. They had about 20 copies left an hour ago if anyone lives or works nearby. There was also two shelves worth of regular copies if you are having trouble getting one elsewhere.

My wife picked up the last CE from a local Target this morning at 8:00am when they opened (they recieved 6 total apparently).

I liev in Sydney, but play on the euro servers. Ive had mine on order for ages and its been shipped, but Uk>Au post is dubious at best. Any ideas on the feasability of using and aussie copy to play on euro servers?

I'm not sure sorry. I have a guildmate in the opposite situation - he lives in Europe and plays on the US servers. He wasn't willing to risk purchasing an EU copy in case it wouldn't work on his current install. A guild mate is shipping a US version over to him.

For what it's worth the Western GTA around Toronto has plenty of copies. Future Shop had tonnes, although I didn't check for the CE (I like all my characters to have the Chicken Pet)...they even gave me the card game for free, which reminds me.
