We just did Scholo today, had to bring in a rogue for the Risen Aberritions though :/ Was a bit too easy to be honest, think we finished in ~2 hours with everything dead.

I'm not sure this is correct. Last I checked, he has an attack called hand of something, similiar to hammer of justice. It does some fire damage and a 5 second stun.

With the progressing of this thread, the question as to what warriors are able to ironman has come up and I decided to test it out with another warrior from my guild.
Bot of us are protection specced and wellgeared
( http://ctprofiles.net/588325)
We both started out with LBRS on our own. The first packs are no problem, with combat ending with me on 99% health. After this I went to the balcony and jumped down into Hordemar city where the numerous packs of orcs are. I started clearing to Voone and while I did managed to solo my way through the orc packs, with one consisting of 1 Invoker, 1 Darkweaver and 2 grunts, I had no chance against the first of the troll packs, where no less than mobs are healing.
So rather than footing increasing repairbills, we decided to throw our lots together and see what 2 protection specced warriors would be able to defeat.
We managed to clear LBRS in 3 hours time with every boss dead. The worst was Shadow Hunter Vosh'Gajin, where all three mobs polymorphs, but by splitting them up(Vosh'Gajin and an add on me and the second add on my guildmate) we increased their run time long enough for the poly to break and with a liberal use of fears and stuns, it was possible to kill off the adds one at the time, seperated.
A surprise was Quartermaster Zigris, who though only being a single mob fight, managed to get both of us to 20% before he died, on account of his stuns and imobalising abilities.
--------------------
Following up on our success, we proceeding to clear DM North yesterday in 2 hours time, again with all bosses down. Krom'Crush and the King took 2 tries each and at Krom'Crush, we again used fear liberally, which allowed us to bandage up without interrupts.
King Gordok was tricky as we had to keep the observer close enough to interrupt and as it was the mage varient, we both got owned by arcane explosions along with the King intercepting the bandaging warrior in our first go. Second time around we adjusted a bit and managed to bandage within 5 yards of the King, thus negating his charge.
---------------------
On a whole, a warrior's ability to solo instances end with Maraudon I'm afraid. With no crowd control, no way to keep at distance from mobs and only the ability to negate physical damage throug shieldblock, a warrior is woefully unable to do anything but take the hits. With 2 warriors, it becomes a challenge to figure out when to use consumables as well as establishing a taunt-rotation on mobs to allow bandaging and fearbreaking.
All in all - it's fun as hell...and a tad expensive with an average of 25 G repairs for each instance.

IIRC Tia Ra (nowadays Sinwori) of Destromath EU 5 manned Venoxis 6 months ago or so. It was shown in one of the hunterpower vids. With the gear availible nowadays these bosses should be pretty much doable for an average 5 man group I guess, if they outgear the instance. The greatest problems are the snake adds, but since they can be CCed by druids, mages and hunters as well as feared, there are quite a lot of options how to stack a 5 man group for this one. For the bat you would need at least two classes that can dispell the silence effec. Spread these ones out so that you won't suffer from silenced healers. Add a tank and the rest is more or less free for all I guess.

The other problem with the bat is the adds. You need to maintain a set amount of damage to take each wave down before the next arrives. They seem trivial in a standard raid, but its a large drain for mana classes, and the more melee you take, the more succeptable you are to bomb streaks in phase 2.

I agree on the adds. Which would imho make a prot paladin the perfect choice for the second decurse slot: he can aggro the adds and do quite a lot of reflective damage for relatively few mana. If the silence hits the primary healer, he can be decursed by macro or manually. Don't know whether a mage or a warlock might be better for AOE (I guess the latter since Life Tap + Heals provides probably more endurance in terms of aoe, but I must admit that caster theorycraft is not my forte :))
Regarding the fire bombs: presuming the melee and tank are above average players they shouldn't get bombed anyway.

I did several tribute runs solo yesterday. Made a new ogre suit on the way out each time. The king is a pretty easy kite. Just have to keep Cho'rush mana drained if he is in one of his two healer forms. No special pots or buffs, just hawk, tsa, and some feign/drinking here and there.

I'm sure you could do some of the early bosses in BRD as well. I haven't done it solo, but I have two manned most of the instance with a rogue as she was leveling from 54-60. Lord Roccor isn't really any higher level than the princess of Maraudon, but it sounds more impressive to say "BRD" than Maraudon. You could even say "DM," since I believe that Lethtendris could probably be soloed with consumables. I'd try soloing Lethtendris myself, but I'm poor as hell since I finally purchased my epic riding skill and can hardly afford raiding repairs. But I think you're right, for warriors instance clearing must end at Maraudon. While ST has some possibilities as well, the prophet dude seems pretty much impossible due to the boss endlessly reseting and my inability to put out the dps required to kill him.
As a prot warrior I've found soloing magic bosses like Noxxion rather difficult. It becomes very much a race for damage before I die, sometimes involving a LGG or last stand if I don't get lucky and crit a couple of times. It's at times like this that I wish I was dps speced. I guess that's why it's so nice to bring a rogue along for these adventures. It still feels like an adventure due to the lack of a healer.

She MC'd our Paladin(Tigermilk), and at the very end she MC'd Azurestrike(Warrior) when she was at a very low % health(I was outside the first ziggurat at that time).
I didn't expect that MC to happen; I figured she'd have died before having a chance to.

I don't know if it counts, but me and another warrior did Razorfen Kraul up to Phlogiston (for the warrior quest for the chest plate) when we were both level 29 and both complete nubs to the game.
We figured that as long as we killed one mob before dying we would eventually win by attrition, as we could respawn faster than they. There were many, many corpse runs. :)
Not quite the same as soloing Scholo, I agree, but we would have felt pretty bad ass at the time had we not been too new to the game to see how daft the idea really was. :)

Heh, a three-man Blackfathom Deeps (my first time in that instance, not having ever been Night Elf or enamoured of long runs) on a druid alt on a new server one time was pretty cool, mostly because the final boss was +4 levels to me and the priest and +6 levels to the shaman who rounded out the party. That's about the extent of my lowbie iron-manning adventures. Oh, and soloing deadmines at level 38 or so on my hunter in January or early February '05 and thinking I was so good for doing it (and given that the blue cape I got off van cleef was an upgrade for me even at level 38, maybe I was).

Haha, that reminds me of me (level 50, still sort of a noob) and a mage (level 48), both desperate to get to the enchanting trainer in Uldaman and unable to find the rest of a group. We snuck in the back way, somehow had no trouble with that giant guy at the door, let my voidwalker tank, aoe'd the scorpion packs and were kind of amazed when we only died once. Like you said, it's not exactly cutting edge, impressive iron manning, but I love that kind of thing :)

On low level tricks -- a friend and I duo'd the princess in maraudon at level 50. He was a druid and stealthed by everything and I just kept running and FD'ing in safe spots on my hunter. It was pretty intense because it took forever, and I had to constantly anticipate the thrown rock to take cheetah off and put it right back on. I was also doing so little damage that we had a couple scares when she started going for the druid just from HoT/Moonfire aggro.

We just 5 manned Venoxis ourselves a little bit ago. We were just clearing all the trash for bijous/coins to get an extra enchant to prep for a new pair of shoulders in TBC, kinda looked at each other when we got to the snake, and said why not give it a shot? We have good to great gear, but I wouldn't call it exceptional - mostly a mix of T2.5 and HWL gear. Only one or two pieces of T3 in the entire group.
Our group consisted of:
Feral Druid (our tank, full HWL gear)
Resto Shaman (typical mix of EF/TS/SC, good accessories)
Mage, 0/0/51 (mix of T2/2.5)
Mutilate Rogue (mostly T2.5)
Me, 9/0/42 Shadow Priest. (mix of T2.5/HWL gear)
We had the druid pull by sleeping a snake, the mage sheeped another one, and we quickly burned one down, then the other, then the slept one, then the shept one. By that point, Venoxis was down to 97%, and we just steadily DPS'ed him down to 50%, then made sure our cooldowns had either reset or were still available, and went to town. The shaman went OOM at 3% and I was right behind him. I stayed in shadow form for the entire fight, and just focused on making sure VT was always up, and combined with mana tide/mana spring/trinket totem, it was just enough to make us last. I actually had almost messed this up, as I did not use any consuambles until about 50%, then I used a Dark Rune and a Major Mana potion. They came off cooldown just as the shaman ran out of mana, but at that point we had him so it wasn't necessary to use any more.
A lot of fun, and we got almost 8g each for our efforts + some small prismatic shards.
We were going to try the bat, but we just were too tired after doing all the trash + Venoxis. I think it's definitely doable with our group, as we have plenty of interrupts for Jeklik's healing during the 2nd phase.

Not if the 2 healers stay far enough apart? With a well-geared shaman (meaty ES) and imp LOTP and a beefy HP pool for the bear, with the addition of dots ticking on VE, should be okay even if there isn't healing for a bit.
It's been a loooooong time since I've run ZG though and hence I'm not as familiar with the individual abilities any more. I'm assuming if the shaman & I stay a decent distance from each other (just close enough to still benefit from VT) that only one of us should be silenced. What's the range on it?

I tried it with 5 a different way.
He hits harder for every snake you kill, so we kept 2 of them up and CC'd.
We did this right after the 2.0 patch went on the live servers.
Feral Druid (BWL + PvP + first half of AQ40 gear)
Shadow priest as main healer (T2 in full heal gear)
Tree of Life Druid (5/8T2)
Warlock (6/8T2, ~500 ish spell damage, demonology)
Warlock (me, BWL + some T2.5 ~600 spell damage, affliction)
Strat:
Two sleeps on pull, pull boss to side. Fear one snake, burn down another. The snakes get heals if they are within ~20 yards of the boss as an Aura. Keep them away (as affliction I fear/drain tanked the first)
Same for the second snake.
The other two snakes were chain feared / slept, keeping the damage on the tank down to about 60% of what it would be with all 4 snakes dead.
Drain Mana next. We tried a couple times without doing this, but with only 2 of us DPSing he starts healing himself with a renew-like spell or aura(did not have detect magic so who knows). He starts this at 75% health. So, we drain, and that stops his healing. At this point we start to burn, and the feral tank shifts out to innervate the priest before 50%. At 50% its all out burn and with this gear and group, prayer. I DC'd at 40% and we failed at 20%. It was late and one warlock left for another, and we got a mage as a sixth (T2). We got it down again fairly well when our druid healer DC'd. Before our last go, the server was reset and with that came new trash, so we stopped.
Definitely doable with 5 with better gear than we had. Extra CC makes it easier.
I am pretty sure the bat boss isn't doable with 5 though. You'd get a few bat AoE waves, which would eat into mana a LOT. And the bomb bats drop fire bombs faster and faster the longer it takes.

We got Venoxis on the 2nd try, ironically our 1st attempt we failed because when the druid shifted out for an innervate, he promptly got destroyed. We didnt bother with mana burn at all -- the renew is dispellable, but it's not really any significant amount of healing. We simply ignored it.
As for the bat, the question is really can one mage handle a wave. We've figured that regenning mana won't be an issue, the mage will simply regen inbetween waves and let mana spring/VT fill him up. Evo makes the 2nd wave trivial too. We figure if the mage can handle killing them, we can persist through at least 3 waves. I'll be able to help by dotting a bat or two as well.
If the bats have less than 10k life, I think it'll be doable. More than that, probably not. I hope we get to try tonight though. DPS from 50% -> 0% shouldn't be a problem though, we knocked Venoxis from 50% -> 0% faster than most pugs back in the day. :)

Talking about low level iron man adventures, I did a lot of 2 and 3-man dungeon runs with my alliance warlock alt on Argent Dawn (EU).
Most notably, my friend and I did all of Deadmines bar Van cleef (who I think we got to 5%) with a 20 warlock and 21 Paladin, and then did all of Shadowfang Keep as (I think) 23 Warlock, 24 Paladin, 25 Paladin. Arugal was particularly hard, and we basically had to exploit to do it - we pulled him to the room outside (where the wolfmaster is) and fought him there, hiding behind the door to break LoS so he had to come all the way out. We'd then fight him, one paladin tanking, one healing, and me dpsing. When someone got turned into a wolf and mced by Arugal, we just used hammer of justice and carried on. Arugal blinks every so often (30 secs or so?), and always blinks to one of 3 spots, all of which in his boss room - by pulling him out, we forced him to blink away from us, and then run straight back to the previous spot so he could get LoS on us, thus giving us time to bandage. Also, due to a quirk of game mechanics, after getting Wolf-MindControlled, when it drops, if you haven't been attacked, you drop out of combat (or did at the time). Thus, though I died a couple of times during the fight, the paladins were able to get OoC, res me, and then resume healing the other paladin (who was tanking at the time).
Very exploitative, but very fun and one of my proudest achievements in WoW. The team of Warlock and Paladin is a very good one, that gives you great versatility, and the ability to handle large numbers of mobs at the same time.
